Negative experience: Had the worst experience at their Mina branch. Their receptionists attitude was appalling who was unhelpful and rude. When I walked out and came back to ask a question, I found him and the veterinarian making fun of me. Plus , they made me do unnecessary blood tests for my cat just to just make me pay extra charges. (Another vet confirmed this with me)

Negative experience: Huge disappointment, I called and told the lady I have a bunny and need to book an appointment, she confirmed many times that I can come in and the doctor will see me without appointment! Even thu I asked her many times. I drove from outside Abu Dhabi, with school traffic! Took me nearly 1 hour to reach to see the guy at the reception saying doctor will not see the bunny, I was so mad and disappointed. Zero professionalism, a never again

Fantastic experience: We took our cat Ori here for sterilisation and for passport, Dr Sasa was so kind, fun. He did everything very well, also, he was speaking a little bit Russian, so it was so comfortable for my nanny, because she doesn’t speak English! When I was reading what people talking about this place, some people said that there is very bad service, the doctors are so bad and they can’t help. I don’t know if is it true, but if you don’t know if it is a good idea, ask for Dc Sasa, he will help you. Also, I like that they answer so fast, it’s so comfortable and cool!

We rescued a poor cat that had been dumped on Reem Bridge, suffering from a severe anal prolapse. It was heartbreaking to see — but Dr Sasha at Canadian Vet Mina quite literally saved this cat’s life! His professionalism, compassion, and incredible skill were beyond amazing. He performed a delicate corrective surgery with such precision and care that even one of his colleagues commented on how impressively done the procedure was — which says everything about his expertise! Dr Sasha treated our rescue like his own, explaining every step and checking in afterward with genuine care. ❤️ It’s so rare to find a vet who combines true kindness with world-class skill. Positive experience: Shout out to Doc Shiela and Doc Eric for always being the amazing vets they are, may it be a casual consult or emergency situations. They always set the bar high in making sure the pets are well taken care of and the pet parents are calm and accommodated.

Negative experience: Very bad service from this clinic, I took my cat there because he has severe sensitivity and scratching. They just kept administering unnecessary tests and just cared about the money, they also kept changing the diagnosis multiple times. I don’t advise following up with Dr. Mohammad, who after misdiagnosis just said I don’t know. save your cat and your money and don’t take your pet here.

Negative experience: I took my budgie bird to them as he was sick and the doctor couldn’t identify his problem which made his illness stronger and when I took him again for a follow-up and the same doctor said mockily “He died ? Oh he still isn’t” which sounded extremely disrespectful and an inhuman response coming from a doctor that is supposed to help sick birds like him, also in second visit he described for us an antibiotic and stated in an indirect way that this is the last thing we can do he didn’t even bother him self checking him up properly. After just two days my budgie died and the main reason wasn’t his illness it was the lack of knowledge and the unprofessional treatment that this clinic provided. Responding to your response on my review, it’s a very obvious thing that you would lie about the fact that you mocked my bid which I quoted because, firstly to keep your reputation clean and honestly I don’t expect from an inhuman and disrespectful person like you to not lie about this however you said that “Avian cases can be very complex” which is true but if you can’t handle them why did you accept the case at the first place although I contacted you before coming to the clinic to make sure that you guys can work with budgerigar cases and you said yes.. also when I came to you firstly I didn’t tell you where my bird’s illness was and FYI it wasn’t a skin condition and the fact that he developed a diarrhea proves my point of you not diagnosing the case correctly which led to his death.

Negative experience: I took my cat to this clinic in almina after he stopped eating. Dr. M.A hospitalized him for 5 days, put him on drips, and inserted a feeding tube without our consent. Despite this, he couldn’t give a diagnosis, suggested my cat might have FIP, and even recommended put to sleep injection(PTS). He also removed all the fluids around the lungs which we later learned was harmful. The next day, the FIP PCR test came back negative, yet the clinic only sent the results on WhatsApp with no explanation. We then saw another vet, who confirmed the feeding tube was placed incorrectly, explained that removing all fluids around the lungs was dangerous, and told us the FIP PCR test is not accurate and no longer used by many vets. The misdiagnosis and wrong treatment from Dr. M.A drastically affected my cat’s health — he might have been treated and recovered if handled properly from the beginning. Instead, his condition worsened and he sadly passed away a few days later.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ibrahim is an EXCEPTIONAL doctor. My kitten, Diamond, came into the clinic as an emergency case after she’d almost died at 5 weeks old. Diamond was diagnosed with atresia ani by Dr. Ibrahim who immediately and skillfully conducted her surgery and saved her life! He also took great effort and care into checking up on her during and after her hospital recovery period when she’d been returned home by requesting daily text and video updates for the first month to ensure she was recovering properly. Because of the area and nature of the surgery, this meant recovery wasn’t easy but Dr. Ibrahim was there every step of the way helping in the recovery process and offering expert advice when needed. He truly, truly cared. At least one of his two assistants, Dr. Abdul Rahman and Dr. Yousef were also always on hand to lend their care and kindness to Diamond alongside Dr. Ibrahim during her many clinic follow up sessions and they too were outstanding in their care. In fact, most of the nurses, doctors and reception staff were familiar with Diamond, knew her by name and expressed genuine love and care for her wellbeing. Diamond is now 4 months old and is functioning fully normally. By the grace of God, and through Dr. Ibrahim’s skilled hands and kind heart, her life was saved and she is now a completely healthy, normal, and incredibly sweet and beautiful kitten living alongside her mother. I can never thank God, Dr. Ibrahim, and his team, enough. Alhamdillah.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sasa has always been excellent. Brilliant care of all of the strays that I’ve taken in for treatment and neutering. My 15 year old house cat had a dental problem. Extra care and attention was provided for the old boy and the problem was professionally dealt with.

Seeking a second opinion, I was fortunate to consult with Dr. Geraldine and Nurse Joven. From the start, Dr. Geraldine and Nurse Joven showed exceptional compassion and professionalism. They listened attentively to Prince's history, conducted a thorough examination, and added a coronavirus rapid test to his diagnosis. Dr. Geraldine explained the treatment options for FIP in detail, giving me hope for Prince's recovery. Nurse Joven's positivity and encouragement were invaluable, urging me to give Prince a fighting chance and stay positive throughout the treatment. Fantastic experience: Got my cat Spayed, really professional people, no time waste and no extra charges. They only give you whats necessary for the pet. Booked my appointment 24 hours in advance, dropped my cat off at 8:30am and she was Alhamdulillah fine after surgery and got discharged at 1pm. They give hourly feedbacks and quick responses to your calls. The doctors here have always been good to my pets

Fantastic experience: It was my first experience dealing with the kidney stone, my cat was in really critical situation until I’ve realized what’s going on… When we reached the hospital Dr. Ibrahim directly diagnosed the stone, took immediate actions to confirm and remove it carefully from the bladder. All the way he was following up on us and giving extra care to my baby Laban. I’m really recommending this particular doctor, cause it’s rare to find someone who does care about animals and understands how important they are to us!

Fantastic experience: Dr Ibrahim and the whole team at Canadian Veterinary Clinic-Mina Brand gave excellent treatment and care to our cat, Kim. They gave us timely updates and were truthful with the methods or care plan. Kim is now much better than when we brought him there. Pets are family members and we are glad we brought Kim to Canadian Vet Clinic.

Fantastic experience: Visiting the clinic for so long and so happy to have caring people that I trust for our lovely cat Oscar, that have recently done the castration surgery by Dr. Ibrahim. He was such a caring and trustworthy doctor that kept checking on Oscar and giving the appropriate medication and advice for a speedy and full recovery.

Negative experience: Totally disappointing and heartbreaking. I bring my beautiful and adorable Gucci to Canadian Mina, was attended by Dr. Hadidi. My Gucci went on a Caesarian session on 13 of April 2024. Dr Hadidi advise us to bring home Gucci right away after the operation. As he was a trusted and register Dr we listen to him the next day I rushed Gucci Back again to Mina and next day my Gucci died. How can a Ceasarian operation can be a root cause for her to die? As per medical advice they told me that something went wrong on the operation. So immediately I asked the canadian veterinary to do a postpartum for Gucci. They sent me the report with no proof how on earth they come out to that report. I was not satisfied and convinced with the report so I called them immediately to delayed the cremation yet after the postpartum they cremate my Gucci immediately without my permission. I have emailed the HR of Canadian but nothing happen seems they are protecting someone. Gucci was morethan an animal, she is my child. This is so traumatic. Until now i am suffering in anxiety and mental trauma for her lost. Its been 4 months since she left and until now I am seeking and fighting JUSTICE for her. I hope the owner read these so he can make actions on the Malpractice that had happen to avoid anymore upcoming mistakes and furbabies will die :(( #justiceforGUCCI

Negative experience: I recently visited the Canadian Vet Hospital in Meena, Abu Dhabi, UAE, and had a very unpleasant experience that left me feeling quite bad. There was a staff member who was supposed to assist with the pets, but he was extremely harsh and seemed to be more focused on money than on the well-being of the animals. Before any treatment could begin, he insisted on getting payment, which made the whole experience feel very transactional. During a previous visit, I received a discount for bringing in a stray cat, and I tried to explain this to the staff member. However, his attitude and ego got in the way. At one point, he even left my cat unattended and walked out, saying he wouldn’t assist with holding the cat. Is this really the right way to treat animals? I also asked to meet with the management to address these concerns, but the reception staff kept giving me the runaround. First, the person who was rude said I couldn’t meet with management. Then another staff member told me to wait, and later said that I needed to pay first. It has been five days now, and I still haven’t received a call from them. This kind of behavior shows a lack of value for the animals and their well-being. where the staff treats animals and their owners with such disregard.

Fantastic experience: My dog Blanco has been in between the kindest professional doctors for 15 yrs so far, he Doctor Geraldine treated Blanco for a month and he get the best from her, thank u ALL

Negative experience: Unfortunately, not professional when i took my lovebird to them doctor was moving around and just saying to the staff to do xwz and thats it ! My bird was injured they just cut off the nail and applied some medicine annd gave me an antibiotics and asked me to put the bottle in the fridge which is wrong because birds will have sore throat i may understand it is a medicine but come on ! And my bird passed away right the next day

Fantastic experience: I went on to get 2 of my kittens checked and fixed, Marsiciel was my doctor and she was so sweet with my cats and very kind to me as well. Same with Marwan who helped me at the checkout, he was very helpful and i will definitely be back!

Negative experience: I recently visited this vet and had a terrible experience. I took my parrot to be groomed, and the groomer ended up hurting its beak. This was an extremely distressing incident, but what made it worse was the behavior of the staff and doctors (“Dr.” Geraldeen) . They were incredibly rude and dismissive, showing no empathy or concern for my parrot's well-being and saying that he was hurt before the grooming. When I brought up my concerns, they were unprofessional and seemed more interested in arguing and defending themselves than resolving the issue. It's clear that they lack both the skills and the customer service necessary for a vet clinic. I would strongly advise against taking any pet to them. The experience was absolutely unacceptable and traumatic for both me and my parrot.

Fantastic experience: My dog was about to lose his life due to the incompetency of another top clinic, I was told about Dr Mohamed and at first I was skeptical but it was the best decision I made. After almost two months of treatment he is fully recovered. If anyone needs a exceptional doctor that cares about the animal and not the money go to him.

Negative experience: I have very very very bad experience with one receptionist his very rude answering the phone , as I’m a customer there for years I never have this . There was one receptionist his name Amjad and Dr. Hadidi they are very polite and friendly I’m dealing with him for a years his giving a good customer service never do like this one so upset I’m not recommending your to my friends anymore.

Fantastic experience: Moving from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, I was worried about my cat, as I had her vet in Dubai, but I just so happened to Meet Dr Mohammed, and the First time for me at his clinic, Dr Mohammed is amazing with pets, just took such good care of my Cat, including his staff who are professional and courteous. Negative experience: They infected my cat with ringworm. Kept my cat for 1 months in the vet 27th March till 28th April. And my cat got the infection spread on the ears and nose and another location on the back. I took my cat out to the British vet Marina and I got the right medication tablets, Now my cat is being treated at home under my care. Fail. If you can’t treat my cat. Don’t open a vet and claim you know how to operate. And the infection came from the vets groomer which I took my cat 3 times a month to get bath and blow dry and nail clips. Their brushes were not clean. Bring your own brushes if you want your cats to be groomed next door. It’s just sad to not be able to interact with our cat or pet it for going for the second month now. Fail. Check your vet quality of treating pets. , I was offered a free medical bath after a week but I’m not going back again thank you. I’ll follow my pet with British thier the most professional in Abu Dhabi till date I’ve never seen a vet in Abu Dhabi with as high quality as theirs

Fantastic experience: Our furbaby recently passed away and we were deeply grieving and didn't know the process of what to do next. (We have called another vet and didn't like how they talked to us, was simply rude and no options whatsoever) Here in Canadian Vet, everyone who was working there last April 13, morning, especially the receptionist, were all so helpful, understanding and has great empathy towards us. He is our 13yrs old Persian and part of our family and they didn’t give up on him that’s why we our fighting for him, Today he is going home with us and we’ll recover. Fantastic experience: I am highly recommend this clinic for doing such an amazing job and with their fully dedication to take good care and do their best to make sure sick animals fully recover especially Doctor Mazan,Jhoven and Jay -R. I brought my cat Hercules to them from day 1 he is very sick and too weak , failure to eat and found kidney failure and had too many complications due to his 13 years of age.Then after 12 days of staying with them finally my cat already get back to being active and normal. I would to say thank you to all the staff out there from receptionist,doctors, and pet care taker they are all so friendly and approachable.

Fantastic experience: We have been taking our 10 year old dog to Canadian Vet Mena for about 6 years. The doctors, nurses and reception staff have all been great. We have had a few incidents where we needed to come to the clinic after hours and have had good experiences. I highly recommend this clinic. Also, I love that certain times of the month, they have 20% off dog food.

Negative experience: Very bad place and so small rooms , took my cockatoo there he was too tired , I left him there for a night as the doctor suggested, he wasn't able to breath well , they also took from me a check up fees which wasn't done for my bird , and a fees for oxygen and a fees for a night , I went back home they called me and told me that my bird died, and I asked them to burial my bird and they asked me to pay money for that service, I told them ok. But after that call no one answers me about what happened and if the burial is done to my bird body or not , the vets team is careless, and they seem to me uncomfortable people to deal with. I will never take my pets there it was my first and last time.

Fantastic experience: We arrived with a rescue kitten and we’re met by the very friendly and professional Maruanne. He help us register the kitten and was kind, friendly and professional. Dr Matesiel and her assistant were professional, clear and really good with the cat. Cannot recommend enough.
