Negative experience: What is the point advertising you have 24/7 emergency care available and when people call they are informed that the vet will only be available after 10am. So clearly you do not know the meaning of Emergency!. Such a dissapointment.

Fantastic experience: I went at 12 med night..my cat got chewing gum in her body..they removed it after professional trimming procedures that last 30 min ..and finally they didn't charge me anything because I am frequent customer

Negative experience: I don’t understand why I ended up selecting the worst vet clinic in the whole UAE. They are not helpful, they are not caring, they are not understanding and they play with your time. If they don’t care about successfully performing their duties, they should resign. What a shame!

Fantastic experience: I am extremely happy with the service at this veterinary clinic. The doctor was truly amazing and very professional in treating my cat, who was experiencing respiratory distress. He carefully assessed her condition, ordered the appropriate X-ray, and prescribed the right medications, which gave me a lot of reassurance and confidence in the treatment plan. The entire staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their hospitality was outstanding, and it was very clear that they genuinely care about both the animals and their owners. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with kindness, patience, and compassion. Overall, it was a beautiful and positive experience during a very stressful time for me as a pet owner. I truly appreciate the care, attention, and professionalism shown by the doctor and the whole team. Negative experience: I came this morning to groom my dog. The receptionist who was sitting at the front desk at 10:30 AM on 24/12/2025 did not even look at me when I asked if I could do grooming for my dog. He told me, “We don’t accept walk-ins. You have to book before you come,” even though I had already called the day before and was advised to come early. He then told me, “There is another clinic next to us, go there — they are free.” Sorry, but I think you should choose staff with experience and proper communication skills. I was really surprised by this behavior.

Fantastic experience: My cat fell off the balcony and was in a critical condition, luckily Dr.Mo took her in within minutes and started her treatment immediately. My cat is back now has mad a complete recovery. Communication with the clinic was very easy and they were very responsive every time I inquired about her state. Negative experience: Genuinely one of the worst veterinary experiences I’ve ever had. The staff did not handle my cat with care and were unnecessarily aggressive, especially considering how gently another vet was able to manage the same situation. Not only that, but the doctor was rude after I declined to take the medications from them. I also requested copies of my cat’s test results, and he failed to provide the complete information. The visit felt completely unhelpful and was a waste of money given the level of service I received. PLEASE take your pets to a better vet that will be worth your money and your pets care!! this vet literally only cares for the money

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I took my dog in last week due to an eye issue. Unfortunately, I’m not able to get eye drops into his eyes because he is a big and strong 9 month old puppy. I have been to another vet that made me feel like I was a terrible dog owner because I’m not able to get drops into his eyes. Everyone at this clinic has been so understanding and helpful! They have let me come back daily just to put the drops into his eyes

Negative experience: These people don't like animals, they treat them as a piece of meat! Put the poor ill dog in the hall on the floor with drop counter!!! Take a cat for withers, as some dirty thing, not alive creature and straight his head so strong, that his eyes was quite explosed! And the doctor said :"He is fine"... If you love your animals, bring them to another clinic!

Fantastic experience: We took a rescue cat in for a simple microchip check, but it turned into a full consultation where we found out he had a viral infection. We saw two doctors, but Dr. Mohammed Adel was our favorite! He explained everything so clearly and made it easy for us as first-time cat owners to understand. We also didn’t know how to syringe-feed or give tablet meds a cat, and he helped us for three days straight. He even told us we could come back anytime if we had any issues or needed help feeding the cat. That really put us at ease, especially since we didn’t have any experience.

Negative experience: If there was less than a star i would have chose it!!! Terrible terrible service, if you care about your pet dont even think about coming here Heres how my experience was : I took my two cats for grooming and showering They hurt my cat while shaving her, her nipples were scratched and very irritated and a bleeding a little bit !!! She was in pain the whole time and terrified When confronted about the cuts from shaving they tried to brush it off with “treats” and toys Next day my cat kept vomiting ( more than 7 times ) and severely dehydrated and had to admit her to another vet for treatment Not to mention the hygiene is questionable . Grooming area is small room attached to bathroom that smells very bad. the table for grooming is rusty . The showering area is a dirty bath tub ( literally smells very bad) and the drying area is also rusty Over all this place is source of infection and need to be reported for hygiene and infection control

Negative experience: Very bad service, they hurt my dog and leave him in pain for the whole day due to an injection. They don’t talk to you explaining the situation they just tell you buy this, buy that and this is your bill… you can see they really just care about the money. Horrible experience! Never taking my dog there anymore.

Zeus and Hera had their surgeries, vaccinations, passports and ear treatment here, and everything was handled with such professionalism and care. Mo at reception was outstanding. Negative experience: It s the worst clinic ever!!!Never bring your loved ones there. Had grooming service done for my cat and ended up getting ringworm.Also found out that the cats of my friends got same there. Stay away from this clinic.

Negative experience: I brought my dog and trusting that he would be in safe hands. Unfortunately, due to the way they handled her care, my dog passed away. I was never given clear communication about what was being done, and when I asked for explanations afterward, I received none that justified what happened. Losing my dog in this way has been heartbreaking and has completely destroyed my trust in this clinic. I strongly advise other pet owners to think twice before bringing their pets here

It was a heartbreaking situation, but Dr. Mohammed Adel stepped in with such professionalism, kindness, and care. He performed a very difficult C-section and saved her life against all odds. The compassion and dedication he showed touched our hearts deeply. We walked in full of fear, but left with immense gratitude. Fantastic experience: It was after 1 am in the morning when my daughters dog suddenly lost his balance and couldn't support his back left leg. We called Araha Veterinary and they were very cooperative on the phone and they invited us to visit the vet. When we arrived we were welcomed by Dr Mohamed and his team. Dr Mohamed was very professional, and kind, he paid full attention and fully examined the dog, and diagnosed his case accurately, prescribed the right medicine and communicated with us in full details the dog case and explained to us how to take care of him post examination and during treatment. Negative experience: Extremely disappointing grooming experience – not suitable for styled or breed-specific cuts I had one of the most upsetting grooming experiences here. The groomers do not appear to have the skills or attention to detail required for dogs that need anything beyond a very basic trim. If your dog requires a cute, styled, or breed-specific haircut, I strongly advise avoiding this place at all cost. I brought in a mini schnauzer who typically sports a specific and recognizable style: fluffy bubble eyebrows, long eyelashes (a breed signature), and a rounded, full beard. None of these were delivered. Despite sharing clear reference photos and explicitly instructing them not to cut her eyelashes, they cut all of them down to a mere 0.1–0.2cm, from her original 1.5cm. When I expressed my shock, their response was a casual “Don’t worry, it will grow back.” Not only is this dismissive, but it also reveals a fundamental lack of understanding – they didn’t seem to know the difference between a dog’s eyebrow and eyelash. One side was also visibly shorter than the other, showing a clear lack of precision. Her beard and eyebrows were given a harsh, straight, unflattering cut, completely devoid of style. It looks more like a generic sweatshop cut than something tailored or intentional. There were also uneven patches around the chest and what looks like an accidental “hole” from a mistaken snip. As a gesture, they offered a 10% discount and handed me a bag of chicken treats – without asking if my dog had dietary restrictions. (Mine is allergic to chicken.) While one groomer eventually apologized, it felt like an afterthought, and the whole situation was handled as if a small discount would make up for the damage. The lashes alone will take 6–8 months to grow back. This wasn’t just a bad haircut – it was a distressing experience and the 6–8 months is a daily reminder of this terrible decision to entrust her grooming to people who were clearly not prepared to handle her needs. This was my first and last time here. While the price may be reasonable, the result is not worth it. I’m writing this review for my dog and every other furkid who deserves better. I truly hope this helps other pet owners avoid the heartbreak I went through.

Negative experience: The vet made my cats ear bleed during an otoscopy. How do you even manage that? On top of it he refused to take accountability for that, stating his ear infection made it bleed. He looked inside once and we could see some infection but no signs of blood anywhere. He put the otoscope in a second time and this time he shoved it from a weird angle rather forcefully and all we saw was this pool of blood covering his ear canal. He conveniently stated it was because of the infection which a second ago had not caused any bleeding whatsoever. He was aggressive with applying ointment and my cat looked really scared to be in the same room as him. He was handling my cat harshly while giving him a booster shot and he advised me not be "so soft" with my cat or he would be spoiled. He's a CAT sir. People like these shouldn't be allowed to work with animals. Horrible horrible experience take your babies ANYWHERE else.

Fantastic experience: They saved the life of our 15 years old dog. She arrived to the clinic with a severe infection and serious liver problems (Lipemia). She had an emergency surgery with a bad prognostic due to her age and the lipemia. Our dog spent 14 days at the clinic, the way the whole team took care of our dog was absolutely amazing, we have had dogs from more than 30 years and we have never seen the commitment, the professionalism and the humankind that we saw at Al Raha Vet Clinic. We cannot express how we appreciate the efforts, the extraordinary work, the nights saving Bala and the kindness you have shown us everyday. Thanks again to the team and specially to Dr. Mohamed Hassan, his commitment and dedication to animal life saved our dog. 'Vieja' is back!

Dr Mohd also explained the process during the vaccination our fur baby.. actually we left home going to the clinic without bringing the food treats on the way, but thankfully they gave us some free dog food sticks ! Negative experience: To the management, please make a review or investigation to one of your doctors named Dr. Mohammed Hassan (kinda bald). Not sure if there are other complaints about him. But this doctor will make the clinic seems like a money-making clinic & no concern with the animals & owners at all. I will never be back to this clinic. All other doctors are great.

Negative experience: Very poor experience. No communication as promised, long delays, and total disorganization. When I picked up my cat, they weren’t ready and gave her in the wrong cage. I had given them a cat carrier for my cat , but they returned her in a different one. When I told them, they made me look for mine in a back room that was extremely dirty — bad smell, urine in cages, and multiple cats crammed into single cages. They finally returned my carrier, but it was dirty, even though I gave it clean. I do not recommend this clinic. Unprofessional, unhygienic, and careless with animals. In terms of treatment, Dr. Mohamed Adel was excellent. Regardless of the points I mentioned earlier, his care and approach to treating my cat were truly commendable.

Negative experience: I do NOT recommend this vet. I have a dog and the way doctor communicates is so unprofessional. They will try to get you to do all tests just to get money out of you. They barely pick up the phone.

Fantastic experience: The nicest Doctors at Al Raha who are genuinely kind and concerned about my fur baby. Dr. Mohamed is simply the best and provides ecellent advice always! And the grooming team is great - they always do such a wonderful job of making our cat look so beautiful. Highly recommended vet clinic as we have had an exceptional experience in regards to regular vaccinations, grooming and most importantly when it comes to any health issues for our cat. Also the extended working hours and availability make them the best in town.

Negative experience: Absolutely unacceptable. I trusted this place with my cat—my fur baby—and they handled him like she was just another task to check off a list. The grooming was rushed, uneven, and done with zero care or sensitivity. He came home visibly anxious, with rough patches and a look in his eyes that broke my heart. This wasn’t just a bad grooming—it was a complete lack of compassion. Pets are family, and anyone who works with them should know better. If you truly love your animal, think twice before bringing them here. I regret ever walking in, and I hope this review helps someone else avoid the same mistake

Positive experience: I went for emergency service / check up and Dr. Mohammed Adel is accommodating and I explained to him the situation and he is very understanding of things. The clinic is very clean and well maintained. I appreciate the immediate response via WhatsApp and welcoming gesture as soon as me and my pet arrived.

Negative experience: I only know that I brought them a healthy kitty, eating well and all for check up, they overdosed her with medicine prescribed and the kitten fell sick in no time! I stopped completely the medication ( another Vet's suggestion) and the kitty got well next 2 days. When I returned to discuss with them, they took zero accountability! I do not want to discuss the money they made me pay as well! I do not trust this vet and do not recommend it!

Negative experience: I took my rescued cat to get vaccinated and ended up with a broken tooth and bleeding gums, when taking the cat to another vet they found that the cat has a tooth infection and needs extraction. The way that the nurse wearing grey scrubs was handling the cat was very aggressive to the point of two teeth cracking when holding the cat down. I visited 3 times not once did the vet say there was anything wrong with her teeth while I informed them it was a rescue cat and asked to check if anything was wrong. The vets brushed it off that it’s a baby tooth and it will grow back saying it wasn’t them that broke it. When visiting previously for the first dose of vaccine the nurse wearing grey scrubs tried to pull the cat from her tail which only distressed her more. Never going back to this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I feel very lucky to have found this Veterinary clinic late at night having to take two kittens to babysit in Abu Dhabi from Dubai because their family had to leave on emergency. Dr. Mohamed was very kind and compassionate. He went over and above with testing, offered me a really reasonable cost for his medical expertise, and ended the visit by giving treats and collars for the two kittens as a gift, as he saw that we were all in distress. Fantastic experience: We had to rush our fur baby, Luna, to Al Raha Vet in the early hours of Wednesday (12 AM) due to an emergency. She had gotten into some chocolate donuts — and as many pet parents know, chocolate is extremely dangerous for dogs. We were terrified and didn’t know what to do. At that time, no doctor was officially on duty, but Dr. Mohamed Hassan, who was off duty, came in late at night just to attend to Luna. His dedication, compassion, and quick response meant the world to us. Thanks to him, Luna was treated immediately and is now completely fine, happy, and back to her usual naughty self.
