Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Dr Ramona. My cat can be calm or aggressive depending on the vet; he really senses the energy of the person handling him. With Dr Ramona, he stayed calm during both the check up & vaccination. He also accepted to take a pill easily. I honestly haven’t seen my cat this relaxed with vets in Dubai. Dr Ramona was gentle, patient, and professional. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to modern vet for all three of my pets and they are best at supporting us and guiding us with the care of all our babies. Dr.Rimona especially who makes my dogs feel comfortable, loved and guides us on how to care for them properly when they're not feeling their best.

Negative experience: I booked nail clipping and trimming service today over phone, and then took my cat there. I told that I expect these services. They did not do the trimming and they said it is done. I don’t understand how they mismanage such a basic service.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful, kind and professional service. Have always been very happy with the exceptional care with my two bengal cats and now we have the pleasure to work with Dr Marta for our new puppy at the JVC branch. Making our puppy feel safe and loved. With clear, honest and practical care plans for our needs. Thank you to all the team for always delivering a great service and making me feel so welcome. Lottie had a great time and has definitely overcome her fear of the vets After three weeks not seeing Dr Marta she was over the moon with excitement to see her again for final puppy vaccines. The minute she saw Dr Marta with another patient she couldn’t contain her excitement to get to her.

Negative experience: This should be a NEGATIVE rating!!! I trusted Modern Vet with my cat’s life, and that was my biggest mistake. The treatment we received at both the JVC clinic and the Al Wasl hospital was unacceptable. The bias was obvious. The attitude toward us (Brown clients) compared to European clients was noticeably different — from reception to certain doctors. Same prices, different treatment. The 2 male nurses at JVC were decent, but the shift in tone and respect from others was impossible to ignore. This is supposed to be an emergency hospital. My cat, Flash, was unwell since the morning, yet no doctor properly assessed him until 2 PM. We were told to wait for one specific doctor to arrive. When he finally came, he immediately said Flash needed urgent treatment. So what was happening all morning? Why was no one qualified enough to recognize his condition earlier despite of having around 10 nurses in the room? Why did an “emergency” hospital wait hours to act? We chose an emergency hospital because EMERGENCY means immediate care — at any time, without delay. We went there believing our cat would be monitored, assessed, and treated the moment his condition worsened. Instead, he was ignored for nearly 17 hours while we were told to wait for a specific doctor to arrive at 2 PM as his shift would start then. Additionally, doctor Patrick also informed that they had to give him extra dosage of medicines which his body couldn’t take and he immediately met with a cardiac arrest and passed away. Overdosing a cat rather than actually caring for him earlier, that is not emergency care. That is negligence dressed up as a premium service. If treatment only properly begins when one doctor shows up in the afternoon, then call it a daytime clinic — not a 24/7 emergency hospital. DON’T advertise urgency if you cannot provide it. I paid over 12,000 AED upfront for this experience. And let me be clear — this is not about the money. I would have paid more than double to save my cat. This is about the appalling standard of care, the lack of urgency, the poor communication, and the complete absence of compassion. Charging premium prices while delivering substandard service is unacceptable. And then the worst part — I was informed 20 minutes after my cat had already passed away. That is not a small delay when someone’s family member has just died. To add insult to injury, my cat was wrapped in a black garbage-style plastic bag for cremation. When I asked for other bags, they said the hospital doesn’t have any. He was not trash. The lack of dignity and compassion shown in that moment was devastating. When people come to you, they are scared, vulnerable, and trusting you with their family. Taking advantage of someone’s situation for the money is just unacceptable. We left feeling ignored, discriminated against, and completely failed. If this is what you call emergency care, something is seriously wrong. Flash was not a case file. He was family. And he deserved better than this. His whole life was ended in a span of 50 hours. I URGE ALL PET PARENTS TO THINK A THOUSAND TIMES BEFORE TRUSTING ANYONE WITH YOUR PET NOT EVERYONE WILL CARE FOR THEM AS IF THEIR OWN CHILD.

The patience and confidence she showed, especially as my dog can be difficult to handle. They could have charged me for the cleaning, but instead, they kindly told me there was no need to pay — which shows their honesty and compassion. I highly recommend this clinic. Please, don’t underestimate your pets’ lives. I had taken my dog to other clinics before where they only cared about money, and their diagnoses were wrong and harmful. I’m truly grateful I came to this clinic and to this outstanding doctor.

Fantastic experience: We had appointment with dr. Snezhana. Our cat Benjamin has allergies and severe itching. We already visited several vets, but Snezhana was the most proficient. She changed therapy given by previous vets and explained side effects of the last and new therapies. She also gave recommendations regarding diet. And lastly her personalized approach was amazing. Our cat is afraid of vets, so she did not force it to go out from the bag, only for some time to check its condition. And also work of administrator was amazing: we were late due to traffic gem by 20 mins, but they arranged an appointment for us when we came

Fantastic experience: Special thank you to Dr. Marta. Vet visits have been traumatizing for me , Blue and everyone involved for the past 8 years . Today Dr.Marta changed that . She took the time to get to know Blue and for him to be comfortable with her before attempting to give him his injections. She’s really caring, professional and shows that she’s in control. I was shocked when I was outside of the room and heard her petting him and giving him commands that he was listening to. The biggest shock was standing outside the room while he was feting his vaccines and not hearing him bark aggressively. Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend them. Catch Dr. Krystel! Found them during the EID break as they are open every day. My puppy had a bad cough and they took care of him absolutely great. Also he had yeast infection in the ear that the previous vet wasn’t able to fix. It’s all gone now after their help. Gave me some great tips and was always helpful to answer any queries!

Fantastic experience: We visited Modern Vet JVC for my cat and we had Dr Krystel. I defo recommend, she was great with him, nice & soft (and with us too ). The reception staff was also lovely, friendly and helpful. They don’t overcharge you (AED 900 for consultation, vaccine, worms treatment, food, and relaxing drops)

Fantastic experience: They are extremely professional and very reliable. I have been getting my dog’s food from modern vet which requires a prescription and they never failed to deliver on time and they always have everything in stock. Sometimes I order more than three bags and they don’t have enough, but they will make sure to have what’s in stock delivered the same day or tomorrow and the rest delivered by the end of the same week. Their customer service is amazing.

Negative experience: Receptionists so confusing, no proper greeting, the minute i walked in he assumed i was someone else. The welcome did not feel warm at all. The other receptionist wouldn’t even smile she was talking like she has had enough for the day. Good thing I didn’t continue my visit.
