Fantastic experience: I very grateful for all team of DKC helping us on all way moving from Dubai to Nice . My dog is Weimerener and we used biggest cage IYATA certified , cat also need a large cage . DKC team is amazing as they advice me how to save many , which consider as miracle for Dubai . Fantastic experience: Went in with our cat Maia, the clinic is an absolute Oasis for animal welfare. Great docter that calmed us, gave professional advice and did not try to push unnecessary products or services. Fantastic experience: 12 years ago we stepped foot into DKC as a last resort to help our rescue German Shepard who was suffering from severe epilepsy. Lucinda worked with us for over a year to get his medication right so he would stop having epileptic fits, and in the end it worked. The care, understanding and support was like no other. His life expectancy was 3-5 years max, he lived till 11. For both my rescue German Shepards, this was their first vet and their last. 12 years of compassion, empathy and support. We have dealt with almost all the doctors at the clinic, and not a single bad experience. I recently had to take my German Shepard there and had to make the very heartbreaking decision to put her to sleep. Dr Jacques was kind, compassionate and caring not just to us but my dog as well. He took the time to give her love and affection, keep her calm and explained everything step by step. He didn’t rush us or pressure us into anything, gave us space and allowed us as much time as we wanted/needed afterwards. The paw prints they make are so thoughtful and caring and when you go to collect it, aren’t just handed to you over the counter like it’s nothing, they take the time to come round to you, and place it in your hand with respect, showing compassion the whole time. I have always recommended this vet to anyone with animals. Thank you DKC for caring about the animals like they’re your babies too

Negative experience: Completely insensitive clinic in my opinion. They have rejected me in appointment bcs I was late for 15 min stating that they only give 15 min to each client. That says a lot. I guess they don’t care if someone need an extra time, they prefer to cash you out and move on.

You arrived for your appointment 20 minutes late, and our vet was already in consultation with the patient booked after you, as they had arrived at the time of their appointment. We were also fully booked until about an hour and a half later, so our receptionist was trying to make a plan for you to be seen in our vet’s next available appointment at the absolute latest - ideally sooner if she had some time open up - but you weren’t willing to wait at all. We were trying to do our best to have your cat seen, it’s just something that we also must manage with the time we have, and the appointments already booked in for other people.

Our receptionist also came back to you a few minutes later to check again if you were still wanting us to try to make a plan for you, but you said that you did not want that. It simply isn’t true that you were rejected.

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience at DKC Vet – Motor City. I brought my very sick Afghan Hound puppy for an appointment and arrived 10 minutes late. I was told I would only have 5 minutes left and that they would not be able to properly examine my dog. For a sick puppy, this response felt extremely rigid and lacking empathy. What makes this worse is that during my previous visit, I arrived on time and waited over 30 minutes to be seen. Apparently, clients’ time is flexible - but the clinic’s is not. I was informed that consultations are limited to 15 minutes. For a sick puppy with ongoing issues, this is simply not enough time to properly assess, explain, and treat the problem. During a previous visit, no proper deworming protocol was prescribed- something basic and necessary for a young puppy. I had to ask specific questions to get any meaningful information. There was no proactive guidance or thorough explanation of the issue. Overall, the experience felt rushed, transactional, and lacking genuine care or depth of medical understanding. When you bring in a sick puppy, you expect compassion, thoroughness, and professional responsibility- not a stopwatch. Very disappointing.

We are sorry that you had a bad experience with us.

Our receptionist did not handle the situation well. He is still relatively new with us and is still learning how to better communicate and to better manage certain situations.

Our vet had let him know that because there was only 5 minutes left of your appointment time, there would not be enough time to do a proper examination of Fluffy. So he instructed our receptionist to let you know that if you could wait for just a bit, he would be able to see Fluffy properly after his next appointment.

Our receptionist tried to convey that to you but failed to do it properly. We promise you, though, that he was trying to help.

It is true that sometimes our appointments run longer than planned, but this does not translate to a disrespect of your time. The nature of a clinic does mean that sometimes we will have appointments that are more complex and time-consuming than others, and we also have unplanned-for emergencies. But we do our best to ensure that people are kept updated about delays, and also to account for when extra time is needed, as much and as well as possible. It is never our intention to waste anyone's time. Please try to trust this.

But we HAVE let you down. We are sorry.

Fantastic experience: My cat came in having an emergency and the staff were incredible. We were regularly updated, they immediately took him (even though they were busy), and regularly updated us. We were pretty convinced he was going to die but they have nursed him back to health and he’s doing well now. We were permitted to visit basically any time we wanted which was very reassuring. The cost of a few days of emergency care is obviously high but very reasonable by comparison with what we have been charged by other vets in the past so we would definitely come back here. We’re so grateful to the staff. I have seen some reviews which have said they have had long waits etc. I think it’s important to remember this vet has an emergency offering and if an animal is having an emergency they obviously need to prioritise that pet.

Negative experience: Do not go to this clinic, especially if your pet is in a critical condition. My dog died here due to a lack of timely attention and insufficient medical options. They have showed lack of care of pet's life. No immediate explanation was given after my dog passed away, despite repeated requests. Procedure and working hours of their management seemed to matter more than a life. Update (26 Jan): DKC VetClinic, you need to stop providing misleading information to other pet owners, or I will disclose more evidence. I don't want anyone else to go through what we experienced at your clinic. The facts: When my dog first arrived at your clinic, he was only having breathing difficulties and was still in good spirits. After your treatment, his condition deteriorated rapidly, and he eventually died at your clinic. You showed no concern or sympathy for my dog’s death. I was extremely distressed that day. After my dog passed away, no doctor spoke to me, and no one explained what had happened. When I repeatedly asked for explanations, your staff refused to answer, saying either that management was not available or that the doctor was not available. I had no choice but to go to your clinic in person. Even then, you continued to avoid answering my questions. This led to the police being involved. Your staff told me the police would come, and I waited for over an hour, but no one arrived. I then called the police myself, and they informed your clinic that no police had been dispatched earlier, and that you were required to provide me with all medical records and explanations for my dog’s treatment and death. They also advised that I have the right to report this matter again and to the Ministry of Health if no proper response is given. As of now, you still have not explained why my dog died or why he could not be saved. This lack of transparency and responsibility is unacceptable.

Burger arrived at the clinic collapsed and in severe respiratory distress, which had been going on for 2 days. Every effort was made to help Burger, and the severity of the diagnosis was clearly explained to you and treatment was given immediately.

You were also present and spoke to Dr Rhett about Burger’s case immediately following the attempts to revive Burger and have been provided with copies of the clinical notes. He also tried to call you, but you did not answer.

Your behaviour at our clinic has also resulted in us calling the police and it will not be tolerated.

And we are exasperated by reviews like this - wholly untrue and a total misrepresentation of who we are.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited DKC Vet Clinic for a serious medical procedure for my dog, and I can confidently say that the experience was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful, guiding me through every step with care and reassurance. The veterinary team was highly professional and demonstrated remarkable expertise. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend DKC After an emergency in the early hours of the morning with my cat having an asma attack the staff welcomed us and treated him straight away. The calm environment and friendliness of the staff helped me to feel reassured he would be ok. Also as they are 24/7 they charged a normal consultation fee ( unlike most vets) which was an amazing surprise. Thank you to Dr Juan and Isa for everything ❤️

Fantastic experience: DKC has been looking after my baby for 3 years. Human error on our part does not equal "luring" and lying and cheating.

Our receptionist mistakenly gave you the wrong price before you came to the clinic. The price difference between what you were told and the actual price IS significant, but the issue is error, not evil.

We apologized to you for the mistaken quote - we quoted for 1 tablet but your prescription required 30 tablets. You would have had to pay that full amount no matter which clinic you went to.

A mistake - that's all. And we're sorry.

But your conclusions are unnecessarily harsh and your words unnecessarily and inappropriately unkind.

Fantastic experience: I have moved my dog back to home country with them, DKC is one of the most professional pet relocation service providers in the UAE, yes they are a bit expensive than the others, but professionalism and quality comes with a price. Negative experience: I was recommended this clinic by a family member due to Dr. Fransisco being there. However, my cat was seen by other doctors and I didn't like the treatment, medical and personally. It was not professional and I called several times to book an appointment but there was no answer. However, one thing that I appreciate is that they do not turn away pets without an appointment.

Negative experience: I had an appointment booked for my dog, Linda, for her second vaccination at 9:00 PM today. Unfortunately, we arrived at 9:40 PM due to unforeseen circumstances. Upon arrival, we informed the receptionist, who mentioned that they would try to accommodate us in between other appointments. However, we were kept waiting until 10:50 PM, even though the vaccination itself would have taken no more than 5–10 minutes. While I completely understand if the clinic was unable to accommodate us because of our late arrival, it would have been more professional to inform us upfront and ask us to reschedule rather than have us wait for over an hour without any update. It was quite disappointing to experience this, especially on a Saturday evening. I hope this feedback will be taken constructively to improve communication and client handling in similar situations moving forward.

Negative experience: I took a rescued pigeon to this clinic hoping they would help. They told me to wait and said they were going to “help me,” but at no point did they tell me they planned to euthanize the bird. Fortunately, I overheard them by chance before they did it and was able to take the pigeon to another vet. When I confronted them, they apologized and said that “all the pigeons people bring in are for euthanasia.” I find that unacceptable. How could anyone think I would rescue an animal just to take it to a vet to be killed? I do not recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Late Sunday evening and our cat was not looking too well. Got to see the vet and he was first class. Gave our cat a good check up and prescribed some antibiotics. From the first contact at the reception to paying and leaving was just what you hope for. Considerate and professional service. Would very much recommend.

Negative experience: I was very disappointed with the service here. The receptionist was unfriendly and unprofessional, which made me feel unwelcome right from the start. Fantastic experience: We first came here for an emergency when our kitten swallowed a ribbon and had to get emergency surgery with Dr Juan. He was amazing and reassured us through every step. We then decided to switch to this vet permanently, and since then Dr Gokcen has been incredible at investigating what’s been going on with our kitten and trying to find a diagnosis. He’s so thorough and explains everything in so much detail that we feel so at ease despite it being stressful for us. 100% recommend!

Negative experience: My pet passed away within three hours of being admitted. I had to call myself to find out he had died. In that short time, I was billed almost 3,000 dirhams, and before doing anything they asked for a 4,000 dirham deposit. It felt like the focus was only on money, not care. I’ve also seen how this clinic staff argues with clients on Google reviews using copy-paste GPT replies. They can save that, I’m not writing this for you. I’m writing it for the community, so others know what to expect.

Negative experience: I brought my bird, Rio, to this clinic in an emergency. Despite the urgency, they took their own sweet time to attend to him. The nurse said the wound was superficial, so why did he stop eating right after they gave him antibiotics? He was eating just fine before that. It was clear they didn’t handle him properly, and I strongly believe the treatment given was wrong. No real explanation, no urgency, and no proper follow-up. On top of that, they gave us a huge bill for care that was clearly inadequate. We paid so much for nothing! To make things worse, Dr. Fran didn’t even have the basic courtesy to call after Rio passed away. No apology. No condolence. Just silence. We trusted them with Rio’s life, and they failed him and us.

Rio was in hospital with us for a few days for a large scratch wound from a cat. It was infected and we were worried about the prognosis and the ultimate outcome of the case as Rio was such a small bird. Yes, he was eating at first, but deteriorated in terms of appetite, which was up and down during our care. We tried him at home, as you know, and you had to bring him back due to diarrhoea and inappetence. This may have been from the antibiotics, or the infection considering the size of the wound in relation to Rio’s body size, Scratches from cats are often heavily contaminated with bacteria and can become infected. We are sorry you feel that we did not act with urgency when he came back in – we would be happy to call you to discuss what happened at this time, as we are not aware that his admission was delayed or difficult in any way. We did make you aware of the serious nature of his condition, and the outcome was not what we wanted, but not unexpected.

The vet on duty called you when Rio died and discussed everything, Dr Fran had finished his shift earlier in the day, and had to start his night shift duty the following day. He was not aware that you would have wanted another call from him.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff and the Dr did an amazing job of explaining what the issue was with my cat's teeth. He didn't mind my million questions and made sure all my concerns were handled. I'll be bringing my cat back here for anything in the future. Negative experience: I brought my cat to DKC for an emergency consult that was supposed to cost 280 AED. Only as they claimed. They insisted on keeping my pet overnight — and the next day handed me a shocking bill of 5200 AED, just for examinations only, no treatment provided. They had already taken 3000 AED in advance, and demanded the rest before doing anything to help my suffering cat. When I refused, they held my pet hostage, refused to treat her, and watched her stay in pain. The bill kept inflating with fake “boarding fees”, jumping to over 8000 AED in a few days. The staff, including the managing vet, were aggressive, arrogant, and completely unethical. They even denied me access to see my own pet. In the end, I walked away heartbroken — paid 3000 AED and lost my cat to a clinic that clearly cares more about money than animal welfare. Avoid this place if you value your pet’s life and dignity.

You brought Leo to our clinic as his bladder was completely blocked. This is an emergency condition in male cats. Treatment for this condition requires anaesthetic, placing of a urinary catheter, blood tests to check the kidneys and at least 3 days in hospital. This, along with the costs were clearly explained to you on admission. You agreed to them.

Once we had treated Leo, you decided you no longer wanted to pay your bill. Over the course of the next 3 weeks, you repeatedly refused to come in to visit Leo or discuss anything about his care. Leo was ready to go home after 3 days. You refused to pick him up. As you left him in our care, you were charged a daily boarding fee for us to medicate and look after him to ensure his wellbeing. We advised you on these fees daily and encouraged you to come and collect him.

After over 3 weeks in hospital and no response or visits from you, it became clear you had abandoned Leo. We have since rehomed Leo to a loving family.

We understand critical medical care for pets can be expensive – we are always transparent about our costs and provide estimates during the first consult with as much accuracy as possible. Your recount of our interaction with you is wholly untrue.

Fantastic experience: Our pup Zoey has seen DKC before she has seen her new home only because we wanted her to be completely checked up before we took her home. It was highly recommended by multiple pet parents and I understand why. A true professional team sitting at the reception and answering your calls and messages at odd hours & great vets of-course! Once registered with DKC, they have been kind enough to answer our (first time dog parents) mid night scare messages if our pup had a loose stool or a vomit & guided us on how to deal with the situation. Not every small hiccup requires a vet visit and I feel thats what they live by too. Which only adds to our trust in DKC. We have gotten all our pup tests done along with spaying at DKC. PS - my pup wags her tail walking into DKC (says alot isn’t it?)

Negative experience: Had such a horrible and inhuman experience from this clinic the other day. Denied the consultation of my pets (with some serious eye infection) under the pretext of of being late for the appointment by 24 minutes. I was not a walk-in customer. Took the effort to be there with both my pets during working hours. Alas! got late due to the traffic. And the staff were just wearing mast of denial presumably due to some other reason. Imagine a situation where they make you wait despite having been there on time for an appointment .. enough is enough! Never ever recommend this place for any reason.

When a customer is late for their appointment we ALWAYS try our very best to see them and to serve them, to care for them and their pets, and in most instances we are able to create the needed space and time in our veterinary schedules by moving other customers' appointments or even delaying other important work, including asking other customers to please wait a little longer than they should have to so that we can help a customer who has arrived late. Life's obstacles affects us all - we always do whatever we can possibly reasonably do for our many customers who arrive late for their appointments, including you.

However, sometimes our appointment slots are truly fully booked up and it becomes impossible to serve a customer who is very late because the impact on other customers who have arrived on time for their appointments would simply be too great. In addition to taking care of your pets, Mr Partha, we also have many other customers and pets who are depending on us for on-time attention and care.

On the day of your appointment, we were totally fully booked for many hours. Because of your concern about your pet's eye, we made the time to examine the seriousness of the issue and determined that although it needed attention, it was not a serious issue and could safely wait until a rescheduled appointment could be made. All urgent or emergency care patients are ALWAYS seen immediately no matter what - your pet's eye was not an urgent or emergency case, and we explained that to you.

You did your best to arrive for your appointment on time. We understand that traffic and other types of difficulties can affect any of us. And if we could have shifted appointments around for other customers in any fair and reasonable way to make it possible to serve you even though you were so late, we would have done that and we usually can do that for most of our customers in most instsnces. On this occasion it simply was not possible.

Fantastic experience: After visiting several other vet clinics in Dubai, I can confidently say that DKC Veterinary Clinic is the best experience I’ve had so far. Many other places felt like they were more focused on making money than actually caring for my dog but at DKC, it’s clear that the well-being of the animal truly comes first. I’ve now been to DKC multiple times, most recently for my dog’s annual check-up, vaccinations, and dental cleaning. Both Dr. Juan Vega and Dr. Francisco Ruiz Acuña have treated him, and they’ve both been incredibly kind, professional, and thorough. They take time to explain everything, and I never feel rushed or pressured into unnecessary treatments. Even the nurses are extremely friendly and caring. The clinic is clean, welcoming, and well-run, with friendly staff who are always ready to assist. Fantastic experience: I cannot thank the whole team enough for everything they did for my furbaby during one of the worst times of our lives. After a horrible accident, my dog got a broken pelvis, we frantically searched for an emergency clinic at 10pm! and thankfully, we found DKC open 24 hours. We were seen right away by Dr. Stefano, who did the initial emergency check-up. He referred us to Dr. Juan, who called us himself at 7 a.m. the next morning. I will never forget how reassuring and kind, and most importantly communicative both doctors were during this time. What truly touched me was that Dr. Juan came in on his day off to perform the surgery. This is a Doctor who truly cares about his patients. Honestly, gem of a person. Throughout the process, they never treated us like just another case — everyone genuinely cared, not only about my pet’s recovery but also about how we were coping emotionally. Special thank you to the nurses who truly cared, they monitored him 24/7, and let me know every detail of his 4 nights stay. They understood that my furbaby isn’t “just a pet” — he’s family. And they treated him with the same love, respect, and urgency that I would hope for. Thanks to them, my Archie is on the road to recovery, and I will forever be grateful. Fantastic experience: Came in at 2 am due to an allergic reaction my senior cat was suffering from. We were assisted by Isa and seen BT Dr Steffano. Had such a lovely experience with them and the clinic is so cozy and such a feel good clinic. Our first visit here and it was such a positive experience. Dr Steffano and Isa were amazing. We also bought some catnip and a cat wand from their retail area, I've never seen such an extensive retail area in any other clinic. This was pure joy. Thank you for being so lovely.

Positive experience: We rescued a cat about 4 days ago from being attacked by another bigger cat and brought her home with us very late. Despite my husband telling me she was going to be okay, I wanted to make sure she was checked by a professional and get her the medication she needs. It was already 1 am and I never thought I’d find a decent 24/7 vet nearby, but DKC really came through! We booked an appointment immediately and took her at 3 am. Dr Juan was extremely thorough and wonderful in handling Bella and put all our worries to rest. We absolutely loved the calming environment the staff made for us, even at such a late hour! If I had to give feedback on an extremely small thing - it would be to please inform the customer about the cost of the tests that are required to be performed. While we anticipated a reasonable bill, we weren’t informed about the prices of the tests/medications and only found out about it once everything was done. All in all, me and my husband are very attention-oriented, and we loved how every inch of the clinic has been crafted with love. 10/10, definitely will bring my cats here

Negative experience: I brought my cat in to get checked and was immediately told to take extreme measures and book in a surgery without even a single test. Clearly this clinic cares for the money and not for the animals. Removing a cats teeth fully without even confirming the issue is sick and shows ZERO care. The condition is not even common in cats his age yet zero tests were done before advising a surgery is the immediate way forward. Do not bring your pets here for proper care. To note: I was never advised my cats teeth needed monitoring although when first adopting him I took him to DKC to inquire about his general health and things to watch for. I was told he was perfectly healthy and had a standard case of gingivitis which would be treated with a gel. I took him once more when he got the flu and was told his teeth are looking good. We have visited this clinic twice and upon my third visit was told without a single test that he has an auto immune disorder. It is impossible to diagnose an autoimmune without a singular test in 4 minutes. Money hungry, and no compassion for animals.

Lena, this review is not only incorrect, it is profoundly dishonest. We do not understand what could possibly motivate you to be so incredibly misleading and ignorant.

You have been a regular customer of ours for some time and have previously been told that your cat's teeth need monitoring. When our vet saw your cat the other day, it was immediately clear upon clinical examination what the condition of your cat's teeth was. We made the appropriate recommendations for treatment.

Furthermore, medication was given to see if your cat would become more comfortable and therefore eat better as a result; and if not, you were told to let us know so that we could possibly investigate further for other causes.

Regardless, your cat is going to need the dental procedure.

You, Lena, are no longer welcome at our clinic.

Negative experience: Used DKC for the first time a few months ago and everything went very well and was happy with the service provided. However the next time I took my dog in, things didn’t go the same way. Communication was awful, and after numerous phone calls, it took them hours to get back to me with test results to which nobody knew what these were, as the vet was unavailable. My dog was having trouble walking and when we went to collect him as we took him for a second opinion, he was walked out on a lead as if nothing was wrong. I used DKC as it was convenient for me with my job but now I won’t be bringing my dog back

You're right, Nick, we did not get back to you soon enough. Internally, our orthopaedic vet was told to call you at a certain time but he did not do that, instead waiting until the end of his workday. Not ok. We're sorry.

While with us, Rocky was given treatment for his back pain, which is why he was able, and safe, to walk out of the clinic on a lead. We promise you that we were very cognisant of the situation medically and not at all unattentive. We hope Rocky gets the help he needs.

Fantastic experience: After visiting 7-8 different vets in Dubai and facing disappointing results, my friend recommended me to visit Dr. Stefano in DKC… It was best decision to bring my puppy to Dr. Stefano, he is very knowledgeable, did proper diagnosis, and medication worked like magic… Plus Dr. Stefano was always in touch throughout medication week, responded email and all questions / follow up… Plus cherry on top, unlike most of vets, i was not ripped off to do thousand different blood tests, xrays etc. Dr. Stefano was confident in his diagnosis and i paid barely peanuts towards the service i got… Clinic ambience is nice, alot of greenery. Negative experience: For four years we visited DKC cleanic, I always liked everything, the clinic is very clean, all the employees are very attentive. But it turned out that this is all a commercial mask to attract clients and this clinic does not care at all about its helpless pets, who cannot speak, but hopes for the competence of the doctor. All that this clinic is capable of is prescribing tow on the withers from worms and making sure to vaccinate. My cat was brought to a serious condition i period of two weeks, Many times in this period I visited doctors who did express tests and x-ray, which does not diagnose anything in our case. Each time I came, they told me that the cat is healthy and there is no reason to worried. Although at that time she did not eat, drink or go to the litter box for 2 weeks. When I talked about this, the doctors in this clinic calmly reacted to this information and did not try to figure out the situation, what was the matter, they only worried about payment at the end of the appointment. I myself insisted on an ultrasound, for which I came and it turned out that there was no appointment booked, I have to wait again. They brought my cat to Lipidosis, this is only one of the consequences. Now my cat is in the other hospital under observation and still has a long treatment ahead, which could have been prevented if the doctors at DKC had a responsible to diagnostics. I would like to wish this clinic, if they understand that it is not the power to cope with the situation, not to drag out the time and money, but to advise the pet owner to contact a competent veterinarian

Fantastic experience: I can count on one hand how many times I have sat down to make a review about an organization, however, DKC absolutely deserves it. After an absolutely horrible time with a previous vet check up and our little cat being completely mis diagnosed for financial reasons we turned to DKC on a recommendation of a friend. We called late at night on a Tuesday evening to have our cat checked after being told from the previous (incompetent) vet that our cat had a serious disease and needed immediate treatment along with slapping us with a bill of 3,000AED. Myself and my partner knew we were being taken for a ride so we turned to DKC. The receptionist Violetta was brilliant over the phone and squeezed us in at 11.30pm the same evening. Violetta even requested to send our cats previous health documents so they could prepare for the appointment. We arrived at DKC in the evening and soon as you walk in and see the decor and the way the clinic is designed, it already felt like a step in the right direction. We were then met by Dr. Juan. And the professionalism was excellent. The way he approached and handled our cat was top class. (Our cat doesn’t let anyone near him) and Dr Juan already had our cat at ease within minutes of meeting him. We were nervous and worried after the news we had been told from the previous vet and the way we were guided made us feel so relaxed. We must have asked 100 questions due to our worry and Dr. Juan explained everything in detail and even went that extra step to show us around the surgery room and clinic. The cleanliness of DKC is phenomenal. We then made the decision to book our cat to have dental scaling and surgery by the Friday. We dropped our little guy off on Friday and everyone in the clinic was excellent. Prior to Friday they even give you an incredibly detailed phamplet on everything you need to know about bringing your pet to the vet before surgery and I have to say, a really brilliant price of information. (Kudos to the person who implemented that) Dr. Miles even called us before surgery to tell us our cat was about to go in and explained during surgery how many teeth they had to take from our cat. Even during surgery I had another 100 questions and Dr. Miles answered with such class and put our worries to bed. We had some worries about putting our cat under sedation so the two hours while our cat was in surgery was a scary time. But we got another call to be told our cat had just woken up and the surgery was a success. Our little guy was ready to be picked up by 9pm and a closing discharged appointment was done to be explained about everything that had happened and next steps for recovery. We brought our cat home thinking he may be slurring around the place drunk but no. He walked in our apartment like he had been for a stroll in the park. It’s currently day 8 after surgery and our cat is happier, healthier and better than ever. I just want to thank every single person we interacted with at DKC for making such a scary time so easy and seamless. I will recommend everyone and anyone to come here purely on our experience we had. Thank you to all your team and thank you so much for making our little papi all mended. You’re all brilliant professionals and please continue to carry on the way you are! We will certainly only use DKC in future!

Fantastic experience: First time visiting this clinic. I took one of my cats to Dr Julia for dental consultation for extractions and cleaning. On every previous visit to a vet, she has been very aggressive but Dr Julia was so amazing, she let her do everything with no problems at all. Her dental procedures were done by Dr Juan and within a day I could see she was much more comfortable. I can’t recommend this clinic enough. Definitely my go to vets from now on

Fantastic experience: We have been going to DKC for 4.5 years & couldn’t recommend more. Good appointment availability and easy parking. We use them for monthly nail clipping and expression services and annually for vaccinations and deworming. One of our dogs recently had a seizure. Dr Rett was so lovely and patient to have a chat with me on the phone about what happened and what to do next. They were available at 4:30am to talk and it was such a comfort. Another of our dogs had a serious medical emergency causing his intestines to perforate. The vets saved him and we couldn’t be more grateful. We have to arrive early because the dogs love to sniff around the wonderful greenery and garden they have outside. They even have a little doggy toilet area, fresh water and a good seating area to wait. Thank you DKC!

The vets are patient, knowledgeable, kind, friendly, greet their furry patients by name, and really go the extra mile to make sure you and your fur baby have exactly what you need. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

Negative experience: DKC Veterinary Clinic provided a disappointing experience. We were met with a cold reception, with a impolite receptionist, and the veterinarian seemed rushed and preoccupied with other cases. Overall, the lack of attention and professionalism left us feeling undervalued as clients. We will be seeking veterinary care elsewhere in the future.

Dr Lekic, although you arrived for appointment at the correct time, we were unexpectedly dealing with 4 medical emegencies. At this time of night, we have only 1 vet working and he, and our reception, were doing their very best to cope with those emergencies and to also serve you. This was also explained to you but you seemed to be unhappy nevertheless that you were not seen by our vet immediately. And attempts were made to explain this to you several times, including apologising to you for having to make you wait 40 minutes, but that when there are medical emergencies, they must be the priority. In the end, although you did unfortunately have to wait to be served, our vet spent 45 minutes with you, attended to two of your pets even though your appointment was made for only one pet, and we charged you only for one consultation fee.

It is unfortunate that in these circumstances, you perceived us as being less than caring and attentive. And yes, our vet certainly must have seemed rushed since he was trying to serve you while also dealing with these other medical emergencies, yet a 45-minute consultation does not suggest a "preoccupied" vet nor an underserved customer.

Fantastic experience: Awesome staff. They took in an injured bird that I brought in and took care of it with a lot of love and care. This was a week ago and I called to check up on the bird and he’s doing great! Also they are open 24/7! That’s a huge bonus for emergencies.

Negative experience: My dog wasn’t feeling well so we went for an emergency visit this evening. Once there the receptionist took my dog to the back to be “examined” while the exam room in front of us was open an vacant, i did ask him if this was necessary, that I prefer to be there during the exam and talk to the dr to explain the situation but he said no the nurse need to see him at the back. (Never saw the nurse) I was waiting at the reception for a while, the Dr came briefly to ask me what happened then left, at some point I was getting inpatient and very worried especially that it was an emergency visit, when I asked the receptionist where is my dog he said he’s doing an X-ray and they had just started, when I asked for more clarification and to bring my dog immediately the dr came to me and took me to the exam room to start arguing with me in a very condescending and dismissive tone that I was the one who asked to bring my dog to the back and that it was “just a dog” that I needed to “chill”… Vets out of all people should understand how important our pets are to us, treat pet parents with kindness and respect especially when coming for an emergency! You have an exam room so use it! I understand the X-ray, blood work etc must be done in a separate room but not the whole visit without giving any updates. We trust you with our beloved pets they are not “just pets” as your dr said, please ask your staff to be kind and reassure pet owners instead of causing them more stress and anxiety.

I am the CEO of DKC. I have spent much of today investigating your complaint here, including speaking with all staff (vet, nurse, reception) who were involved.

All my staff, without exception, are rather shocked by the way you describe your experience. I am too.

Your description of events and of the things you say were said to you are not at all how my staff experienced dealing with you and your pet. And, furthermore, their telling of the story is not only very different from your version of the story, the unkind things you say in this review cannot be left by me to stand publicly as a testament of your experience because it is simply not true. In fact, although YOUR perception of us is, somehow, so negative, it should be made clear here that OUR experience with you was not a positive one at all. And despite our very great effort to comfort you last night, and to explain things to you, SEEMED to make you feel better at the time, we then find this unkind damning by you of us and the way we treated you. Not fair. Not kind. Not necessary.

If you wish to have a considerate and truthful conversation with us about your experience last night, I am available to you ([email protected]) and so are any of my managers and staff ([email protected]). Although you depict us as being very poor quality professionals and people, and although we reject that completely, we remain available to you for a better quality conversation, if that is what you wish.

The freedom to "rate" a business (and to damage it, if one wishes), and to say absolutely anything on social media that you or anyone wants to say, no matter how truthful or not it is, remains your right and we cannot do anything about that at all - except to respond today as I am now doing, and to tell you and anyone reading this review that what you have written is simply not the truth, and that if you have feelings that have made you feel unhappy, perhaps a more direct, mature conversation with us is a better way to choose.

Fantastic experience: - We've been going to this vet for some time now and Laurel loves vet visits here. - I fully trust the vets; We've had experiences with Dr. Miles, Dr. Jacques, and Dr. Juan, all of whom are great! They provide necessary information about check-ups, vaccinations, or anything related to the visit, and answer questions directly to the point. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly with dogs. - The clinic definitely shows care and is not just about making money, unlike other vets we've visited. - The clinic is clean. I like the ambiance. - We will definitely keep going here for our dog. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: DKC did the most amazing job on bringing my Cocker Spaniel safely from Manila to Dubai. Not only super caring and trustworthy with my dog, they were very helpful with providing information and coordinating with the export side from the Philippines. My dog was delivered to our destination at the exact time they said she would be.

Fantastic experience: Extremely happy with our experience with Dr Francisco Ruiz. He was very kind, informative & took great care of my dog, whilst in the consultation (Also answered all my questions happily). I've been to two vet practices before & both only open from 10am onwards, so I am very happy to have found a vet that opens at normal time (8am), as I needed my dog to be seen to in the early morning. Overall very happy with reception, vet and overall service. Recommend 10/10 :)

Fantastic experience: My dog, Falafel, passed away a few days ago. He used to go to DKC as his normal vet. They have been super good to him for 5 years. He passed away at Modern Vet, as he was taken there after hours, but Dr. Miles at DKC was the nicest, most compassionate vet I have ever encountered in my 5 years interacting with vets here. He 100% percent be trusted with your fur child.

Fantastic experience: My beautiful cat Fluffy Maliks life came to an end on 13th January 2024 at DKC. I just wanted to write this review to a say big thanks to all of the staff that me and my siblings interacted with at DKC. Dr's, Receptionists, night staff. Fluffy battled long and hard and hopefully she's somewhere happy now pain and worry free. :,) Thanks DKC your people, your services, they way you guys handle/explain everything was the best. Fantastic experience: You will not get more caring, experienced, professional, friendly and all round expert vets in Dubai! Been with the team for 8 years now and our Princess is treated exactly like that- royalty. From the support staff carrying her fro and to the car, to the receptionist listening to my concerns, the nurses caring for her during the night and the vets who expertly operated. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this vet clinic! They also accept Emirates Platinum! Every time we take our boys here, we always leave with peace of mind, and solutions for our dogs health. I will never take my dogs anywhere else, we even drive from Abu Dhabi to come to this specific clinic. All the Vets are very knowledgeable and professional and all the staff are very friendly. They also carry Royal Canin and even allow you to place orders before they order from their suppliers to ensure everyone who needs it, gets the food they need.
