A year ago, I lost one of my cats to panleukopenia after a misdiagnosis elsewhere. When the two siblings fell ill the very next day, I brought them here in a panic. Thanks to the aggressive, expert care and the correct diagnosis from this clinic, both survived. Today, they are healthy, playful, and more bonded than ever. Negative experience: Nobody can tell me these are real Veterinarians. They just try to milk you as much as they can. I really dodged a bullet there by changing to another vet.

Fantastic experience: People will have their different opinions about vet services in UAE. What matters for Stray Dogs Center, is the ability to successfully treat critical cases, no matter what the issue is. Not all UAE vets are competent with stray dogs and/or shelter dogs. Dr Chen is by far the most knowledgeable vet when it comes to stray dogs and shelter medicine. He understands the complexities of treating such vulnerable animals. Over the years he has saved countless souls and that is what counts when choosing vet services for Stray Dogs Center.

Fantastic experience: Dr Chenjerai is amazing. Very professional, efficient and to the point. We have taken our dogs to other vet’s there and have been good. However, I really like Dr Chenjerai and always ask if he is work. He explains all test results and Xray result even to the lay person. He will always ask before doing any tests or procedures and will call to let us know of the results and possible plan. Please The girls at the reception are absolutely lovely. Compassionate! We have had good experiences. No place is perfect however Vet 24 is our choice.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at this clinic. From the beginning, there was zero transparency about prices. No one explained the procedures or costs beforehand. They simply started applying medication without asking or informing me, as if I was supposed to magically understand what they were doing just by watching. I don’t have a crystal ball. The consultation alone was 105 AED, and in the end, they prescribed the exact same medication I had already purchased and still have at home. No new solution, no proper explanation, and no improvement for my rabbit. Just because a rabbit is considered an “exotic animal” does not justify this kind of treatment. It honestly felt like they were taking advantage of the situation to charge more. Dr. C was unprofessional and rude, which only made the experience worse. To make matters even more frustrating, the location is terrible. The area is full of sand due to road construction, access is partially closed, and getting there is extremely difficult and stressful. After all that trouble just to arrive, the service was still awful. In total, around 400 AED completely wasted, with absolutely no problem solved. This clinic clearly prioritizes money over animal care. I do not recommend this place at all. Very disappointing experience.

I want to state clearly that I have great respect for veterinarians and consider this a noble and demanding profession. I do not take writing a review like this lightly. However, not sharing this experience would feel like dishonoring my cat’s memory. I brought my cat to this clinic when she was already critically ill, with multiple underlying conditions. Given her condition, I expected an experienced veterinarian to recognize the severity of her state and to guide me honestly and compassionately. Instead, I felt the focus was repeatedly on running blood tests—particularly for kidney values—while other serious issues were overlooked. My cat had significant anemia (FeLV), which was not addressed proactively; I had to raise it myself during checkout. At one point, another veterinarian had already indicated she was in Stage 4 kidney disease, yet I was never given a direct discussion about end-of-life considerations. During her stay, I received daily updates saying she was “doing well,” “alert,” and “responsive.” However, when I took her home, I discovered she had a severe flu with obvious nasal mucus—something that should have been immediately noticeable to any attentive clinician. My cat lost her voice the past 2 days, why wasn't that addressed at all. Shockingly, a blood test was performed just minutes before discharge, yet this flu situation was ignored, despite her extreme weakness and declining state. Three days after I brought her home, my cat passed away. I am also concerned about the clinic’s setup, where cats, dogs, and birds appear to share the same space. While I am not a veterinarian and cannot state this with certainty, I do question whether this is safe or appropriate for critically ill animals. I cannot help but feel that my cat may have contracted the flu due to this shared environment. What hurts most is not only the outcome, but the lack of transparency, holistic care, and clear communication during my cat’s final days. When an animal is clearly dying, repeated testing without addressing comfort, secondary infections, or quality of life feels deeply troubling. When I took her home, her twitching was truly disturbing and her flu was so bad, she could hardly breathe - did the vet not see this? And when I called in, the lady said the vet would call me back - he never did. The following day my cat stopped eating and eventually died. I am sharing this so other pet owners can ask questions, seek second opinions, and ensure their animals receive truly attentive and compassionate care—especially at the end of life.

Fantastic experience: Vets 24 are amazing. Six months ago, we found a crow with a badly broken wing. Dr Chenjerai carried out the delicate surgery. Thanks to the team, he's made a full recovery and is flying again, living in the nearby trees. The staff are also great with our dog. He can be a handful, but they always ensure it's a stress free visit.

Fantastic experience: All the nurses, staff, and especially the doctor were very cooperative. They treated my cat from parvovirus with great care and dedication. I truly appreciate their help in saving my cat from this fatal virus. Saying “thank you” will never be enough for their effort.

Negative experience: I took my cat here to be spayed a few days ago. After the surgery, her incision didn’t look good, so I was told to bring her back for cleaning and antibiotics. They also gave me a new e-collar, which I never asked for, and then wanted to charge me about 315 dirhams just to see the same cat they had operated on five days earlier. When I asked why I had to pay that, they cut the price in half — which to me shows they’re just collecting money from people. I had already paid over 600 dirhams, so I expected that to be part of the original cost. Honestly, this place feels more focused on money than proper care. Be cautious and, if possible, look for a vet that truly puts pets first.

Fantastic experience: I left my Maltipoo here for a month during the summer while I traveled to Scotland. I received daily updates about my dog, and I could easily communicate with Vet 24 regarding my dog’s needs. I highly recommend this place for all your pet needs, especially boarding, as their pet care is excellent.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my cats to Dr. C for nearly 14 years now. While I've occasionally visited other clinics in the past due to convenience of location, I always found myself returning to Dr. C due to his exceptional knowledge and expertise. We've also been seeing Dr. Godfrey regularly, who has shown remarkable skill and patience in handling my very aggressive cat, something I haven't often seen in other vets. Dr. C, Dr. Godfrey and Dr. Uchi consistently take the time to explain the importance of health checks, treatment options, and lab results thoroughly in a way that’s easy to understand and helps me feel involved and informed. In December 2024, one of my cats was diagnosed with kidney disease. Thanks to their dedicated care, we were able to have him around for 7 more months. During his hospitalization, I was sent regular video updates and allowed to visit multiple times a day to feed and comfort him. The clinic went above and beyond to accommodate late-night visits, home visits, countless questions, and even provided emotional support during this time. Even after my cat passed away, Dr. C called to offer his condolence and its these little gestures that mean a lot. I have nothing but good things to say about the vets, support staff and the admin. The only downside is that the services can be on the expensive side, but surely not more expensive than my cats health. A big thank you to everyone at Vets24 from me and my ‍⬛

Fantastic experience: After disappointing experiences with other veterinary clinics in Ras Al Khaimah, we have been to Vets24 with both our dogs (Labrador and Dachshund) on several occasions. Doctors are excellent and staff helpful and understanding. This is the only veterinary clinic we take our dogs to.

Fantastic experience: Fully equipped vet clinic, friendly staff, well experienced doctors, who are willingly helpful and actually kind to the animals (which is rare these days). The place is in an easily reachable location, almost no waiting time in queue. They are also fast responsive over phone and WhatsApp.

Negative experience: The employee inside was live streaming on TikTok without my knowledge, and the broadcast had been ongoing for a long time without my awareness. He showed no respect whatsoever for the customer’s privacy, and this is an offensive and illegal act in the United Arab Emirates.

Negative experience: Worst vet experience ever. I took my cat to this clinic after she gave birth because she hadn’t eaten for two days. I made it clear that she hadn’t eaten since giving birth. I left her there for one day, expecting proper care — but when I returned, I found out they hadn’t fed her at all, and she hadn’t used the litter box the entire time. When they discharged her, they told me she was “fine and okay.” But once I got her home, I discovered she had a fever and a postpartum infection. My cat was on the verge of dying due to their negligence. This was heartbreaking and completely unacceptable.

Positive experience: Doctor agree with my suggestion for deposit. Doctor should be aware for small birds; if the bird look healthy fine pls pls avoid blood test and other unnecessary procedures; birds are so sensitive that could lead to fair and death as it happened for my new poor white cockatiel bird. Doctor shouldn’t suggest unnecessary vitamins not all pets could handle it.

Negative experience: Overpriced, Unnecessary Procedures, and Poor Attitude I recently brought my cat to Vet20 because of bruises on its head and hand. My wife was at the clinic with the cat while I was on the phone with the doctor during the visit. The doctor suggested an x-ray, antibiotics, and other procedures that felt unnecessary. They also insisted on keeping my cat at the clinic for three days, which significantly increased the cost. What’s worse, the doctor didn’t provide any medicine or treatment during the consultation—just discussed unnecessary steps. When I decided to get a second opinion from another clinic, the doctor became visibly upset, which felt unprofessional. The next day, I visited another vet clinic. They performed a thorough checkup, provided an injection and antibiotics, and assured me there was no need for an x-ray or an overnight stay. The care was excellent, and the cost was far more reasonable. I cannot recommend Vet24 based on this experience.

Negative experience: My cat was poisoned today, December 27th. I went to the clinic at midnight and they asked me for 1800 dirhams for the blood test and 300 dirhams for the consultation. They took advantage of my cat's condition. I don't have enough money for the consultation and blood test. At 2 am my cat died.

Positive experience: I brought my boy Luka, in for a consultation after he got into a fight with one of our dogs. He had an open wound on his abdomen from the incident. Dr. Uchi was very helpful, and I appreciate her taking care of Luka and explaining all the necessary procedures. I was worried, but fortunately, the wound didn't require stitches. Instead, we just need to use antibiotics and an ointment to treat it for a few days. I'm glad I met Dr. Uchi that day. I would like to express my disappointment regarding the delay in receiving a response from the clinic while I was waiting for Luka. This made it challenging for me to decide whether to pick him up and earlier to schedule an appointment that day. Furthermore, I noticed that the prices were higher than those at other veterinary clinics. I want to thank Dr. Uchi for everything. She deserves a five-star rating. However, my three-star rating goes to the clinic.

Negative experience: They charged me 25 AED for one dose of antibiotic (because I just lost one dose and they charged me for it). Should’ve been offered for free especially that I spent almost 1000 AED in one week. Predatory. Although vet guy was nice.

This clinic is huge with all the facilities, lab testing , x-ray , boarding, grooming and many more . Excellent team of doctors. Dr. Chenjerai , Dr. Shepherd , Dr. Ezra are very experienced and very good in their work . Hope and Litta on the reception are extremely friendly and very welcoming. The team is very positive and you can never go dissatisfied. I highly recommend , I have been a very regular customer to then here and also at RAK . The clinic is very clean and my pets were very well looked after .

Negative experience: First of all the emergency doctor does not inform the doctor in the morning shift of what happnd with the cat and also doesn't gv the pet owner any update on how the cat is doing is a big red line for me...My cat had breathing issues and I rushed her to emergency and was suppose to pick her up next day waiting for any update from the clinic but they didn't even pick up my phone and when I reached there the main doctor tell me he doesn't know anything about the cat since he just arrived in the morng and the night shift doctor didn't inform me...so people use you own gut instinct with your pets these people are in for just money making..if it wasn't emergency I would not step in this clinic

I brought my kitten at 11pm and the doctor told the price is higher after 10pm, however the price is the same all the time since I also brought my cat one year ago in the afternoon and the price was the same. This is commercial clinic from my view.

Positive experience: I have been taking my dog to this clinic for his regular vaccinations and food treatments, and I have to say, they are really good! The fact that they are open 24 hours a day is a huge plus for me. However, I do wish they were more wheelchair accessible and the prices are a bit on the high side compared to other clinics in the area. Fantastic experience: I have brought in a stray cat because they were injured and they had constant visits to my house. I never planned for it to be a house cat, but it hurt me to see it injured like that. The price to take care of the cat was quite much but they did provide a great service and did a good job taking care of the Cat. Overall i rated them a 5 because of the great service, i just wish there was a better package for a stray cat so that i would do this more often when i see a cat that is injured. With there expertise and care it would be a great deal for people that have such love for animals!

Fantastic experience: My dog Zazu (English Bulldog) has an emergancy situation because he was not able to urine anymore and he has quite big pain, previously we have faced bladder stone issue which was managed until this point. We arrived to the clinic around 11:30PM and we got direct assistance from the junior doctor who was there at during the night. He told me straight Zazu bladder is full and hey need to make him a caterer and do blood test and X-tray to know more information and accordingly of those results the doctor team will be able to advise me what will be the next step, I left Zazu at the clinic. Next day I came back and and I met with an another doctor who has given me full update and the diagnose was not very promising, Zazu has at lest 10 major stones at his bladder and during the caterer process he flashed out at least 10-15 mini stones the doctor has informed me at the spot operation is must. His blood test was quite poor cuz his kidneys were under pressure and cuz of this fact he needed to have a recovery treatment before he get a bladder operation so this process taken 3 days. Operation process, thanks God went well and Zazu spent 4 more day at the hospital to make sure no infection and he is fully stable. My story end with happy ending since the operation Zazu is fully recovered he is very happy. I can just thank to the entire team here they were taking care of Zazu at their best level. I am not here to give anybody advise but I have seen quite many native reviews about rate and different issues. My comments only: this is a healthcare same like human healthcare, sometimes the team is unable to help… About price yes indeed they are not chip but at least they have good equipments, I am not here to give a negative reparation to any other clinic but we were visited an another clinic 2 months ago where was not able to see the stones at all and they said Zazu has only gas issue… Thank You Vet24

Fantastic experience: Thank you very much to vet 24 team for saving our rescue kitten Lucky from the injury he had and also later as turned out he had parvo. They did their best and he is fine now! Big thanks to Dr. Asad who admitted Lucky when we found him. He was very helpful and understanding all the time. Always answering all our questions. As we were worried so much.. Also Big thanks to Dr. Godfrey who did the surgery and also took good care of Lucky and all the doctors, nurses and receptionists. Everyone was friendly and helpful . Always sending updates in WhatsApp. And it's really great that they are working 24/7. As we also found Lucky at night. Fantastic experience: The reason I go there is because I trust Dr. Chenjarai. He is an amazing doctor and I can trust that he will take good care of my dogs. I first came to know Dr. Chenjarai in 2015 at the Rak Animal Welfare Centre when I first adopted a rescue husky puppy. And my husky needed surgery. Dr. Chenjarai did an amazing job and the surgery went well. My husky will be turning 9 this year and he is a very healthy doggy. Both my dogs have been treated by him and I recommend Dr. Chenjarai in taking good care of your pups.

Fantastic experience: A million thanks to Dr. Godfrey for helping my cat Broody out. My poor cat was in a bad situation with gum inflammation and infection but Dr. did a wonderful job with a surgery and put my little guy at ease. Many thanks to him and his staff.

Fantastic experience: Another routine annual visit to Dr. C for my dog Buddy. He’s not the easiest of patients to say the least, and I am so thankful for the understanding and expert handling and care from Dr.C Not mention his professional expertise. I can’t recommend this practice highly enough

Negative experience: My cat got sterilized from Vet24 on Friday 3, Nov 2023. I'm really disappointed that my cat got spillage from iodine all over during process and operation and it made my cat got hairs color face on her back, her ear and some others, female doctor try to explain me that my cat got these color before but I have prove from my photo history. Doct offered me one complimentary shower, but i dont think it can help.Others issue that I disappointed is about the way doctor did stitching for my cat , it look like she is very new to do it (it looks like bundle stitching instead of one line stitching) when I compare with other cats of my friend, she did with doctor (man), he did one line stitching nicely and it make cat recovering faster. I so worry about my cat. Poor cat! I should request the doctor.

Negative experience: I dont recommend at all! its really expensive, and they could treat my bunnies, they gave me the wrong meds and my 2 bunnies died the next day.. if you can’t figure out what wrong with them just say so ? Literally the worst vet

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience with vet 24. I went there with full trust. I spared no expense in treating my cat and paid everything they said. In one month I could pay 6000 aed, thinking my cat was getting the best treatment and care. It turned out that they didn't care about him. Because of them my cat got a very bad flu, and they lied to me for 5 days, saying that everything was fine. When I asked them to send me a pic & video of my cat, they didn't. When finally they sent me video of my cat, I saw him in very bad condition. I rushed to the vet clinic and when I saw my cat, I couldn't believe my eyes. My cat had one eye closed with discharge from his eyes, he had some scabs all over his face, he was breathing heavily, he was sneezing all the time with discharge, he was in pain, depressed, sitting in the corner with his face down! And no one could answer my questions about what happened to him! He had a urine infection and I bought my cat special food for urinary care. But when I went to the vet 24, I noticed that there was the wrong food on his plate, the water was ice cold! I wanted my cat to have the right treatment and the best care! Instead, he got the worse, when no one cares about him! And because of them, my cat has a permanent problem with his eyes. His eyes overflowed with pink tears. This is a side effect of the flu that he got, due to the negligence of vet 24. After vet 24, I went to eye specialist, to get another opinion. And the doctor told me that the eye problems were a side effect of the flu he had. The only way to change it is to have surgery and put in a tube. It's very difficult for me to write this review because I have these memories coming back to me. I cried every single day. Even now I’m writing this post, I’m crying. Every day I wipe my cat's eyes so many times, wipe away his pink tears. And every day I clean up the pink stains on the floor, and wash the blankets from his tears... And I feel so bad that my cat will forever go through this unpleasant experience. All because of Vet 24! I will not forget them and I will not forgive them. This is indifference and negligence on the part of the vet 24 towards my cat! And to me! And I have proof of every word I say. I advise you to stay away from the vet 24 if you love your pet.

Negative experience: ‼️PLEASE READ ‼️ I don’t recommend this place at all, I’m so disappointed that this is the only place that we have for emergencies, *they are so expensive , *I went for an emergency, and my cat looked poisoned, and we knew about that before, he should have treated her immediately but he wanted me to pay first then treat my cat, *he wanted to do an x-ray and blood test and all that was for 1500dhs, even people don’t pay that much for only an x-ray and a blood test,* the doctor was not good with her ,she was kicking and he let her fall and got really hurt by that, so he took her inside to see what is wrong with her but she died, I’m sure that she got extremely bad because of that fall, I’m so upset , don’t go to them even if it an emergency, hope all your pets be well.

Positive experience: وديت قطي باندا عندهم لعمليه بتاريخ21/7 كانت عمليه تعقيم بسبب حالته صارت عمليتين الدكتور كان جدا خدوم وصبور مع كل اسألتي وكانت اسألتي كثيره وشرح لي العمليه بضمير وبعد العمليه بكم يوم لما وديته عندهم مراجعه لاني شكيت بوجود خراج يطلع من الجرح طمني ان مافي شي وان الجرح ملتأم، كان العلاج مجاني في يوم المراجعه وما اخذو مني الا سعر الملابس الطبيه.شكرا للدكتور على صبره

Fantastic experience: We love Vets24. Our animals (of all descriptions) have been seeing Dr C and Co for years now and they always put them back together with consistent care. Recently CatastroFix broke his leg while we were away on holiday, but we were kept informed on all developments and returned to a cat on the mend. So thankful these guys are in RAK. Highly recommendable for all your pet's medical needs. Excellent patient /dr relations. The best in RAK.
