Negative experience: review: this place actually sucks. the management is horrible, the workers are horrible, and the place is so downgrade quality it needs to be shut down. but unfortunately, it is the closest daycare to my place. i once had to keep mycat there sincr we were traveling and when i came back less than 3 weeks later i could see her bones through her fur. she looked so happy to see me despite the fact that i didn’t even know she could feel happiness at that stage. this was 2 years back — we went for another trip recently and i had to give my baby away at that same place, thinking the management and service would be better. VERY mistaken. long story short, she escaped. we filed a complaint to the police but nothing has been taken care of. this place SUCKS, but if you’re looking to lose your precious furred family members, highly reccomend. this place is actually so disgusting it physically hurt to write. i don’t even have any pictures of the baby either, they were on a hard drive which we lost on our trip, i miss my baby.

Fantastic experience: kept my dog at Canary Pet Hotel for three full months, and throughout this long stay I was extremely satisfied with the level of care and attention provided. From the very beginning, it was clear that the team truly cares about animals and treats them like family, not just pets. The care my dog received was excellent in every aspect. They took care of regular showers, daily walks, playtime, and proper feeding, making sure he was always comfortable, clean, and happy. My dog came back healthy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after, which says a lot about the quality of their service. One of the things I appreciated the most was the constant communication. The staff always sent me videos and photos, showing my dog playing, walking, and resting. This gave me great peace of mind, especially since he was staying for a long period. Knowing that I could see how he was doing at any time made a huge difference. I have been a loyal customer for over six years, and this consistency is not by chance. Every time I use Canary Pet Hotel, the service remains professional, reliable, and caring. They maintain the same high standards year after year, which is rare and highly appreciated. Negative experience: If i was able to give zero stars, i would. It's a shame google reviews doesn't allow that. The staff there are careless, irresponsible, and completely unaware of anything going on at the center. I was on a trip to india, and i left my dog, miska, at the center for them to take care of. on the third day, they tell me that she "escaped" the center. I had to cut short my trip. Once i got back, i went straight to the center. I asked them so many questions, "what training are the staff getting? Are you even getting trainings? What was the staff doing when she ran away?" And hundreds more of these questions. Not a single answer. They were sitting blank, just saying "sorry this has never happened before". They told us that she escaped in the morning, and told us as soon as she escaped. But for some reason, they lied about that too. Miska escaped not even a DAY after. The fact that they could lose her so soon just shows even more how careless they were. Everyday i go to the center to ask more unanswered questions, and everytime i see only 4-5 people handling the whole area. Most of the staff are always on leave. We asked them where they go for searching, and they only go around the area where their canter is. I ask them everyday," show me videos of where you go.". They always show the same video, saying that they always go here. And the worst part is, they only go for three hours. The manager has no clue of what's going on in the center. I have so many more flaws to say, but i don't think google would let me put such a huge review. So to conclude: if you even THINK about sending your pet to that center, don't. The staff only cares about their salary, not your pet. Our beloved dog has been missing for over a week, and along with her, the happiness we had in our lives is also missing, all because of some careless people with zero sense of awareness.

Negative experience: uhm hello? this pet centre is so bad even my grandma can handle my dogs better than this, like no proper facilities nothing, cant even keep your pet for even a day, my dog went missing and yall are just chill abt it, like yall dont even know your supervisors name... anyone going to this pet centre im telling you its the worst experience and i cant even find my dog hes been missing foe 2 weeks, taking it so lightly... i do not reccomend this at all.. pet centre it seems cant even handle pets properly and left them unnattended.

Negative experience: I am writing this with complete shock, frustration, and heartbreak. I trusted Canary Pet Centre with my dog for what was supposed to be a short and safe boarding stay. Instead, within 24 hours of leaving her there, my dog went missing under their supervision. What happened afterwards has been even worse. The level of carelessness, lack of accountability, and total absence of support from this place has been unbelievable. Not once did I receive a proper explanation of how a dog could escape. Not once did they take real initiative to help search. The attitude I experienced was unprofessional, indifferent, and completely unacceptable for a facility that claims to care for animals. For days now, my family has been devastated, searching endlessly for our dog while the centre provides no meaningful assistance, no updates, and no sense of responsibility for what happened. A pet owners worst nightmare happened in their care, and the response was nothing short of disappointing. No pet should ever go missing under someone’s watch. No owner should ever experience this kind of negligence and lack of support. If you value your animal’s safety, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. My experience has shown that Canary Pet Centre is not a secure, reliable, or responsible environment for pets, and I deeply regret ever trusting them.

Negative experience: Truly bad experience!! Do not visit this daycare, me and my family went to india for some personal reasons and thought this daycare could be trusted with our dog, however thousand feet away we’re in panic because our pet has escaped the daycare due to the staffs carelessness. Not to mention the staff don’t even have the basic decency to reply to our messages and keep leaving us on seen.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Canary pet centre! The receptionist, Arah, is very attentive to detail and exceptionally hospitable also the other staff was so gentle and patient with my dog, Bailey, who can be a bit nervous during grooming. He came out looking absolutely adorable his coat was shiny, nails trimmed perfectly, and hr smelled wonderful! Shout out to his groomer John Mark, I really appreciate how he did an awesome job with Bailey haircut and he take good extra care for him. Highly recommend for anyone who wants their pet to be pampered!”❤️❤️❤️

Negative experience: They always find a way to make you broke fr. lol jk anyways I half fw this place. And I lowkey and highkey fw this cat tho he my bro fr anyways tbh I’ve taken like around 7-8 cats here different occasions and tbh half of the time, they do AWESOME work, the rest tho middddd. Most recent tho, was one of my kittens. He had bunch of problems and we’ve been taking him like to almost 4 vets now. Canary was one of them. Andddd basically they suddenly wanted to do an operation on my cat fr and I was like twin why bru yk. Anyways to sum it up, was pretty unnecessary my cat died last weekend and the reason was very unrelated. Their dentist r good tho.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with Canary Vet Center, the best veterinary clinic in Ajman. I always visit them for my pets’ check-ups and grooming. Today, my pet underwent surgery, which is the second surgery I’ve done with them, and both times the Canary team provided great support and care. I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Ahmed and Dr. Awad for their excellent assistance during the surgery. They kept me informed before, during, and after the procedure, explained my pet’s condition clearly, and guided me through the medication and recovery process. Fantastic experience: I live in Abu Dhabi and my dog was in a very bad condition due to the local vet’s treatment. I took him to Canary Vet in Ajman in a very bad condition due to wrong medication and amazing expenses. Dr Ahmed treated my dog and brought happiness to us. Amazingly kind Doctor. I owe him a lot.

Fantastic experience: This is not the first time I’m dealing with Canary Pet Centre it’s starting before one year and a half and it’s will not be the final, honestly it’s very good place and you will be trust that there is a people taking care very well to your pet specially Ms. Ara she make you come again and again to this Centre because she know how make my check in very easy and quickly . Negative experience: I wasn’t satisfied with the grooming service. I asked for a number 1 cut for my cat, but the result wasn’t smooth it looked like it was done by a beginner. They were rude and didn’t listen to what we wanted for our cat. However, the receptionist was very kind and polite thanks to her for being so professional. But unfortunately I’m not coming back.

Negative experience: Brought my parrot for grooming, my parrot is annoyed from it nails after cutting some is cut and some no just they made it sharper my parrot can’t walk freely without it nails be stuck on any fabric around and carrying it be hard we got a lot of wounds from it nails , although my parrot is friendly doesn’t bite or fight back they didn’t do nail clipping as I book it.

Fantastic experience: I had a sudden AC problem in the apartment during the summer and thus I had to relocate our cats. I am really grateful for Canary Pet Centre for accommodating and actually I was already stressed during that time after calling and messaging all other cat boarding centers. I originally booked one night for the cats then I took them home but then turns out AC still has cooling issue, I had to again go back to the clinic. I'm so grateful that they accommodated my cats once again. I feel that the cats are safe and well taken care of by them. Thank you to the staffs and Doctor. The clinic was the solution to a problem I didn't expect to happen.

Fantastic experience: The great groomers Mr. Raymond and Mr. Daryl were phenomenal in handling the complete grooming needs of my pet Whiskey, Alaskan Malamute. It is not easy to handle my dog, firstly he's 2 years and very strong and tough. Secondly they took absolute care in bathing and combing him for almost 2 hours. I highly recommend this center for any pet needs. They have loyalty points options too as in you get the 6th grooming free, yey!. Staff are very friendly too especially Miss Jenny at the reception who is very hospitable in her approach towards pets and owners. Doctor's here are excellent as well. I do all my vaccination needs here too.

Positive experience: Big thanks to Abinash , he groomed my cat and was super friendly and patient with her and even didn’t let her stress The vets were amazing they understand my concerns about my two cats especially the pregnant one and thanks to the very friendly receptionist One star is missing because of the other groomer, he was impatient with my other cat although he is calm but the groomer was aggressive and kept shushing my cat? I didn’t appreciate his attitude at all and the grooming wasn’t perfect .

Negative experience: Took my cat for grooming and the groomer was not available and in attempts to convince me to wait around the cashier told me the groomer coming in was a senior groomer so i waited but the groomer was very aggressive handling her that she urinated herself 3 times and he kept on handling her aggressively. Ive never seen my cat so terrified! He opened the water right over her head without checking the temperature and the AC was blasting at 19 degrees the whole time when i got her back in the carrier it was ice cold! She was ill for days to follow shivering and refusing food. When i spoke up to the cashier she didnt seem to care much as much as she cared about my form of payment. I sent them a direct message on instagram to which they replied with an apology and they asked for my number to reach out to me and then they never did or even replied to my messages after that. Prior to that i received a call from the cashier that dismissed my complain that they want to offer me 2 free washes (theres no way im risking taking my cat for grooming again!) she also informed me that turns out the groomer was not infact a senior groomer but a new groomer and they had no idea till they asked him…

Negative experience: I am quite surprised and disappointed that I have to give such a low rating and write this review. I have been a loyal customer of Canary (Al Zorah) for over 7 years. Now I have tolerated the extremely long wait times over the years, the lack of adherence to appointment times because of the convenience of the location and the kind receptionists there. But today’s experience sheds a new light. I’d expect them to know how nervous my dog is after so many years and well developed file on him. The least they could do is pair my dog with a patient and tolerant groomer knowing he’s anxious when he’s getting groomed especially when being blow dried. The technicians thought it would be appropriate to cut his nails while he was being blow dried, injuring my dog, having to shift him to the Vet’s office to stop the bleeding. This only highlights that the clinic only cares about rushing through appointments to increase their profits, rather than take the extra step to truly care for my dog. And I specifically communicated clearly to everyone that he gets anxious and nervous and I all but begged that they take good care of him. Basic decency would have been receiving a call from the Vet explaining what happened and what I need to do to keep his paw from getting infected. Instead I received WhatsApp messages from the Receptionist blaming my dog for moving around too much. What did they expect when cutting his nails while he was being blow-dried?? Again, another confirmation they put profits over long term loyal relationships and the well being of our pets. I am an honorable woman and paid the full amount of nearly 700 AED for today’s services. But, God forbid, if my dogs gets an infection, I will do whatever is necessary to ensure that Canary pays all costs of his treatment. I am the type that will gladly pay hundreds more for kind, humane, and tailored services and more than willing to drive to Dubai. And this is what I will do now after this disappointing appointment. I highly advise you do the same. Because after 7 years of loyalty this is how my dog and I were treated.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday, I visited Canary Pet Care in Ajman as my eldest cat was not feeling well. It is a big clinic with hospitable and welcoming staff. Here I must give special review for Dr. Ahmed Magdy, he was the physician who thoroughly examined my cat. He was not in hurry and even allowed me to stay with my pet till he examined him. He made me understand the current problem at hand and discussed any underlying problems my cat might have in future and what the corrective action for that might be. Dr. Ahmed is a thorough gentleman who has a great interpersonal communication skills and as a pet parent made me at ease. One day has gone, since my cat has taken medicines, my cat has shown considerable improvement, from being lethargic to him being his old self that is feisty and hyper. Thank you, Dr. Ahmed, for your exceptional care and special thanks to all the staff.

Fantastic experience: I had my pet cats stay at the pet hotel for the weekend and I was really pleased with the entire experience! The doctors at Canary checked both cats to clear them for boarding and showed us the boarding area which was really nice and reassuring. Throughout my stay, they kept updating me on the cats and how they were doing. It was a really good experience and I’d definitely bring my cats back here for another stay!

Fantastic experience: Great service indeed! Our cat baby went for emergency surgery and it was successfull. Thanks to Dr. Khalid and his team for extending their time to treat our fur baby. Their professional service is good, they provide daily updates while under confinement. Kudos also to the reception and staffs for accomodating us during late visiting hrs.

Negative experience: The wait time is extremely unnecessarily long even if you have an appointment. As a vet center that regards itself as somewhat professional, it doesn’t hold itself to those standards. I took my cat there and the doctor suggested that the cat might have liver failure and a heart murmur and gave me the name of a clinic in Dubai to get the cat tested. I took the cat to Dubai the same day to get tested (the Dubai vet said my cat doesn’t need medication but it still cost 2000+) and after a month of medication and approximately 10k dhs spent, the retest showed that my cat doesn’t have liver failure and that “it might have been a misdiagnosis”. I regret ever taking my cats here, the vet just does pointless tests and wastes your time and doesn’t care about your cat’s health. A complete waste of time and a misdiagnosis

Negative experience: It was incredibly expensive. I took my injured cat, who had a small wound from falling off the second floor, for a full checkup to ensure there were no other issues. They wanted to charge me 100 AED for cleaning, 100 AED for the checkup, and another 100 AED for a small bottle of cleaning solution and some honey to apply to the injury. The bottle they provided was labeled as 60 ml, but it wasn’t full too. Despite paying for a checkup, the vet only looked at the small wound and didn’t examine my cat for any other potential injuries. I don’t see how they can call that a “checkup.” I won’t be going back – it felt more like a business than a clinic that genuinely cares for sick pets.

Negative experience: I am a long time client of Canary and have been bringing my cats to the clinic for a few years now. They have always been a great facility in pet care and customer service. However, my recent visit has been nothing short of disappointing. The doctor has been busy with a patient upon my arrival but was done shortly after. Next, I waited for an entire hour with my cat for just a quick checkup and vaccination. I was the only client in the waiting room. As a result, my cat was stressed and therefore aggressive while receiving the checkup and vaccination which was not the case for his behaviour in previous visits. As a pet healthcare facility, their patients’ wellbeing should be their utmost priority, but keeping pets waiting unnecessarily when they are stressed shows that Canary believes otherwise. Despite all of this, I never received a sincere apology, which was absolutely disrespectful. The high regard I held of the clinic has fallen and had reached an all time low. I expect the Canary management to look into this matter and ensure that visits are more efficient if they want to maintain the loyalty of their clients in the future.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed. My cat was supposed to be neutered 2 months ago, we paid and had her blood tests done. The results came back and showed her ALT was very high. The doctor told us it could be as a result of her diet or trauma to her liver. We showed the doctor all her food and treats and the doctor said it couldn't be that. The liver trauma also couldn't be explained because she is an indoor kitten. We gave her the medication prescribed and went back a month later. Only for the blood tests to show that her ALT is even higher and now her AST is high too. All they did was prescribe the same medicine, some kind of growth stimulant. Our cat has absolutely none of the symptoms they said usually accompanies these blood results but they wouldn't listen to us when he expressed that she eats enough and even sometimes tries eating her brothers food. 2 weeks ago I asked the receptionist to have the doctor call me to explain to me what to do to get these blood tests to improve. I've heard nothing. Also, the receptionist sounds extremely passive aggressive over the phone. Hopefully either the doctor can call me back and help me, or they give me a refund because I paid for an operation that did not take place.

Fantastic experience: We had such a great time at Canary Ajman, all the staff are extremely kind and welcoming. We always prefer to take our puppy to Canary Ajman over any other place. Today we took our puppy for a grooming session and Mr Redento did a really great job with the grooming. I would definitely recommend his service anytime. Fantastic experience: The grooming guy ( Christian) did very good job with my cat Richard (grey/white cat), even though my cat was very aggressive. Christian was very patient with him. I asked for no. 2 shave, christian knew how to control Richard but without hurting him.

Negative experience: Would never take any pet i have there not trust worthy for cat treatments they just take money over 7000 for silliest things and don’t even CHECK THE PET PROPERLY my cat is in the vet for 3-4 weeks because of them the cat has a long big cut in her body that they closed with a stapler and to clean the wound they open the whole cut and clean and then stapler her AGAIN EVERYDAY ! Believe it or not but don’t ever ever take your cat for treatments or and other emergencies there . حسبي الله ونعم الوكيل

Fantastic experience: The reception lady, Ms. Angela is such a wonderful person who is so lovely and welcoming and helpful! Additionally, the doctors and nurses explain the processes and what is happening all the way and give you a complete explanation of your fur baby's health. I love that about this place and a plus is that they care for the strays outside their clinic and feed them❤

Fantastic experience: Our dog has been in the care of Canary Vet & Pet Care since he was a puppy. Recently, we used their boarding services in Ajman and we were very happy with the overall boarding process and services and care. We were away for three weeks and our dog was very well taken care of by Mr. Sherwin. We had daily updates of our dog and he was very kind to double check on a little skin allergy our dog had (which was not serious at all and did not affect other dogs. It was just dry skin). The boarding process was smooth and Mr. Alan led the process. He also made sure our dog was medically checked by the vet before, to ensure it was safe for him to board. This was a very good safety precaution not just for our dog but for other visiting dogs aswell. The dogs are kept inside and it was air conditioned. We're allowed to bring our dog's toys and bed, so it was good that we could make his stay at the boarding feel at home. We will always come back here.

Fantastic experience: My 2 year old husky was recently admitted, he was diagnosed with Parvo. It is absolutely commendable how the case was handled by Dr. Ahmed and the staff of Canary Ajman. As a worried parent, Dr. Ahmed handled our concerns with patience, he understood our fears and was in constant touch. Our baby was kept in confinement but was checked constantly by the staff. We received regular reports and updates from the doctor and the staff. A huge thanks to everyone for taking care of Marcus, his recovery has been amazing. Dr. Ahmed, forever grateful for answering my million questions and handling us with so much love ❤️

Negative experience: Because of admin Bella I would like to make an official complaint about the receptionist Bella the admin lady. Who called me and booked an appointment with me at 4:30 and told me even to come earlier. I told her that I have to leave my job early from Dubai to attend this appointment. She confirmed this. When I arrived before 4:30 pm with my pet they told me the doctor is in surgery. They asked me to wait, thinking that he will be done soon. Of course the Dr was not informed. However, I have been waiting for an hour now. No one have informed me before I rushed to the clinic that the doctor got surgery and won’t be available. This is disrespectful to client and in unprofessional really. I think this is Bella’s fault because she just want make business, get money and get patients waiting. This is not the first time. I understand that the doctor had to have surgery but why no one called me to cancel or change the appointment!!! The only reason I attend the clinic is because of Dr Khalid.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. They took good care of our mini poodle and sent us daily updates and videos. It was very reassuring. Would definitely recommend for pet stays during vacation periods. When we picked up our poodle, she was already groomed to very cute and cuddly. Mr Allen, the caretaker was soooo friendly and our poodle got attached to him so much. Thank you to the entire team. We again sent her in March and she was very well taken care of

Fantastic experience: Canary Ajman is the safest place I can keep my furbaby (shihtzu) Champs during our holidays. Their facilities is clean and well maintained. Caretakers are the best specially kuya Allan. Doctors are readily available if and in case of emergency. Champs is always at home in Canary - he never missed us and truly enjoy the company of other dogs.
